    Connie147 and The Improver both have 50 e/w on our 8/1 winner and move nicely into contention on the heels of Hawk Eye...

    a few each way successes for carrigeen, babymaker6 and Derrence to get them off the mark.

    amazingly enough, if you take all the contenders in the League, we are as a whole guaranteed to finish in the black today (and that's before knowing the results of the last two races)
