Sheesh ya can't really go wrong for that kinda outlay. :) Congrats.

Yes not much risk at that price. One more picture of the inside of the back of the watch, I'm guessing these are service dates scratched in there?

Exactly. I think that's really cool - the history of the watch carved right into it. My recently acquired Universal Geneve 'Wilhelmina' (WW2 Dutch army watch) has a single service date engraved. The watch was probably made in 1939, and it was serviced once - in 1976

About due for another, when I get the chance. Took it to a place local to me and the chancers wanted 314 euro for a service, and offered to polish the case for 170 euro. Not only a rip-off, but a great way to damage the historical value of the watch.

    Congrats on a beautiful watch.

The Antea 390 is very elegant.

    Pictures don't do it justice.

Will be ordering one with a croc strap next year when funds allow :)

I'd say so, they're offering engraving on the rotor for €49, and will do it on old models for same if they have it for a service.

My everyday watch. Annoyingly I had the glass replaced not too long ago. These scratches resulted from me falling from my bike. :(
Can I ask you were you got the glass replaced on your watch and also how much, as I have a lovely watch with chipped scratched glass. Its a seiko watch with a yellow face and I if I seen the same watch again, I would buy it. Thank you
