Thanks for explanation. Didn't know that.

Would you really go for a car that have a 2.5l engine with a power of 1.3 and appetite of 6l V12. car where word safety doesn't mean anything really. And it cost 10k !!!!

If I had enough money yes I'd like it.

I'll never pass another, it fits in well with my interest in oddball classic cars, its an interesting relic from behind the iron curtain, its built to last, its simple to repair and run and to top it off the dodgy handling and safety aspect will encourage me to drive more responsibly.

When driving every classic I've had I am forced to think about every move well in advance and to concentrate more on the idiots around me and think about what they could do next.

You've already PM'd me about this, and I've responded to you in detail.

It's frustrating that you would take this to PM and also question my actions on thread.

Please don't discuss this further on-thread, it's against the Charter as it takes the thread off topic.
Either PM me, and keep it to PM, or escalate the matter by contacting the Cmod (Kbannon) or starting a DRP thread about it.

If you post like this (i.e. against the Charter) again, you will receive a ban.

2.5k for a 96' 1.4 scruffy and scuffed golf! You would get a 01' or even a 02' for that money!

5x less price would be fair for these old tramps :)

Sean Freyne just came back from his summer house in Marbella where he has spent his last 3 years and hasn't realised yet that you can't get 2.5k for old crapy golf in Ireland anymore. :D

They are really only worth scrap value, 500 euro would buy one of those in decent condition. Even the GTi's seem to be worth little or nothing...

    Not washing it.

Shouldn't it be in KM not miles as its a JDM import ?

Why not just do the bits it needs then its worth the money, also why weren't they done when it was serviced ?

    Texts only.

    Am I missing something ?

the one that pissed me off was

starting the advert with, 'sorry the car is so dirty, im really very busy with work', then he goes on to say, 'car has hardly been driven at all since the service last month'

Ya I agree. Just throw a bucket of water over it, 10mins tops and it would be a lot more presentable.
