I don't drink that much anymore. Drank a lot of shots about a month ago at a party and before that, new years. Was at a party recently and had a great time sober - there was free drink too! 18th is on Wednesday and I don't even plan on going out

I drink when I go out and I go out twice a week probably, I enjoy it, makes for a more enjoyable night because everyone acts the fool. :pac:

21 and I don't ever get hangovers, it's awesome, never ever had one before.

I have severely diminished respect for people who claim "alcohol is stupid i'm never going to drink" and who give out about other people drinking and then start drinking when they're 18 (or maybe a few months before).

It just reeks of sour grapes and denial. Fair enough if you wanna wait till your 18, just don't lie about your reasons. grrrr.

I knew i was gonna try alcohol from as early as i can remember knowing about it. That didn't mean i wanted to get drunk when i was 7, I knew i'd do it some day, and i didn't think it was stupid, it was just one of many grown up things i didn't do, but knew i one day would.

When i was 14 i decided i'd start drinking after the junior cert. Mind you, despite "drinking" on several occasions most of 4th year had gone by by the time i found out what being drunk felt like. I had the occasional naggin after that, no regular drinkinge till 6th year.

I can't go a week without a few pints of heino but that's me.

In general,there's no harm in a having a few cans/pints when you go out. It does make you relax more imo. Just stay away from the vodka and whiskey.

I drank a wee bit too much on Sunday night, I was awake for a total of 6 hours on Monday. Anything other than sleep was genuinely unbearable!!!

Not looking forward to music festivals.......
