yes to give Madrid more time to prepare for Old Trafford

    Yeah, this is correct.
However it's not being show on Sky Sports till 8pm.

I think there is some Middle Eastern channel showing it and may Gol in Spain too.

It's being shown Live in Murrays in Dublin City Centre.

You can probably find a stream somewhere too ;) , though I doubt it'll be in English, maybe on there (http://www.firstrow1.eu/)

Thanks lads. Must be the first El Classico in a long long time that is not live on Sky.

Yep, I guess it's more to do with the premiership coverage than any thing else though.

Saw a tweet from Sky saying UK broadcasters aren't permitted to show live football between 3 pm - 5.15 on a saturday so that's why it can't be shown live

Depending on how weak a team Real Madrid send out, I actually think Barca will bounce back today. Their pride must be seriously stung, and I expect them to come out fighting and to celebrate effectively sealing the title on the pitch afterwards. It still wouldn't make up for last Tuesday though.

From an Atletico point of view I suppose I have to be realistic and say that a Barca win is the best result.

Above is true, they were discussing it on the game podcast this week

Its true. The 3pm - 5.15pm blackout on live games is so that it ensures attendances at lower league level. If there was a live game it was thought that attendances might drop due to an interest in the game that is shown on tv.

    1-0 Benzema.

Great ball from Moratta. Dani Alves was poor.

If it's a fella with a Newcastle accent it's probably Ray Hudson. He does a lot of Spanish games.

Cheers...he is fairly cringeworthy, seems to be a mix of channeling Sid Waddell, and taking cues from his American co-commentator.

    Who else.

BTTS already done and dusted :D

And to rub it in, he ties with Di Stefano for amount of El Clasico goals.

When Messi really wants a goal, he ****ing gets a goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,404 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Great Goal.

Benzema might have been like a 'Bengal Tiger' for his goal....but Messi was like a 'Jack Rabbit on a hot date.'

    I love you messi !

You are obviously watching the US stream with Ray Hudson, I was watching the Al Jazeera with clive, but the quality is much better on the US Stream

"Messi is merciless in front of goal....just like Ming " *cringe* :P

    That goes without saying ;)

Thought the "kicking to touch and then pushing up" was a bit much. Ball should have gone back to Madrid Keeper.

I'm afraid my thoughts on Pepe would get me banned.
