Kev these guys are nesting on the Burrin more or less just down from the Gala shop on thompsons side of the river.

Big old reed nest very visible from the road.

You might get some good shots with them there..

stickdan, for a 2d image it has such depth and colours, it's a beautiful shot. Where is the shot taken.

This thread should be renamed " Stick-dan Photo Appreciation Society"
    Great work

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,456 ✭✭✭stick-dan

Ah now, lets not get ahead of ourselves with renaming threads. I'm the same as everyone else, a regular guy with a camera. There are no pro's amateurs or elitists here.

The shot was taken in Myshall, Co.Carlow. It's a scenic part of the county on many evenings. If you click the image and follow it over to pix.ie you'll read what others have deemed to be a nice story beneath the photograph.

If you *(or anyone else for that matter) like it enough to want to own it I have printed a copy that I am selling actually.

I had a photo shoot in Walsh's Homevalue Hardware today in Bagenalstown. I do apologise because I forgot to post here that the dulux dog would be on show. There is another chance coming up in a few weeks to get your chance to have your photo taken with the dulux dog. I'll be sure to keep you all informed.
