The Stig, Unmasked!!!

I think I've just found out who The Stig is and I feel pretty deflated by it all.

I really wanted it to be someone interesting and not some no-name. Let's hope it's just tabloid puff.

Anyway, I'm debating putting up the link so by way of compromise, I'm going to noparse it and put it in spoiler tags in small print so that none of you can click it by accident.

Holy Crap!

I watched episode 5 from the 2004 season lastnight, and he was on it doing a stunt with a mate. He was driving while his mate tried to land in the back with a parachute after jumping out a plane.

The two were introduced in the studio afterwards. The one bit of recognition the Stig were to get in person for doing something, I guess...

He did another thing where he raced a kid on a skate board thing in a bowler wildcat.

It's not really news, has been widely known it was him for a long time

And the idea that it was a a star driver such as Damon Hill is a bit ridiculous, They would have to pay him more most likely and whats the point in that if he is going to have a "hidden" identity. Also Ben collins is a highly qualified driving instructor which would help a lot in the Star in a reasonably priced car bit
