    I'll do the running round the walls Vagga as well as Farmleigh and the War Memorial Gardens.

    and it starts at 10am.

    Seems a bit extreme to be closing gates at 7:30am, especially on the far side of the park from the course. Must be trying to keep traffic out from parking altogether.

    Wonder if this is a sign of things to come for other races in the park.

    Gates must be closed that early for the TV lorries i guess.

    If its a 10 am start, should we just postpone until Sunday morning as say 10 am?

    Thinking I might change my route if the park is going to be a no go area, might run around a couple of the wes dublin parks if anyone is about.

    No problems moving LSR to Sunday if that's what folks want to do

    Will find somewhere else interesting to do a shorter run Saturday morning.

    Think i'm going to stick with the long run tomororw but I might run to the park and do 6-7 miles there, need to double check my route and mileage but will prob hit the park about 10am.

    Hi, went to the 'Meetup' Phoenix park run last Sunday, but they're not doing one this Sunday so am wondering if I can come along with you guys? And if I do will I be left horribly behind (FYI, the Meetup group pretty much painted the board.ie people as doing an Iron Man most weekends). I did two halfs last year and my time for the most recent one was 2 hours although should also mention that I've only started getting back in shape after a break of 2 months.

    Not familiar with the 'meetup' runs...what are they?
    Tomorrow morning's run will be a nice pace for you...10:00/mile.
    I'd suggest going along and then you can base your experience there against other possibly faster group runs in the future.
    Definitely not iron man stuff and people are free to come and go as they wish and usually the group return to the cars every hour or so.
