Au contrare. I vividly remember Wee Daniel performing that 'I Just Wanna Dance With You' song on Top of the Pops back in the day.

Having narrowly missed meeting Daniel after he went to see a patient of my sisters boyfriend in hospital, because she was missing his gig, in Christchurch NZ, I can honestly say he has spread worldwide :P

Not true. I can buy them here - theres an import chainstore called world market that does all that kinda crap: mcvitties biscuits and a whole rack devoted to Hello Kitty Foods. So ya can get Barry's Albeit for something stupid like $10 a box.

    http://www.worldmarket.com/home.jsp

Rashers though, that really requires some effort. You can find the cut near enough, but its cured in shyte/pure salt. Any butchers here? Theres no definitive wiki page about the irish rasher so I wouldnt know what to tell to the guy at the meat counter.

Bah. Reminds me of an irish bar/hostel in Bolivia I visited over the summer - they had a pack of Tayto sellotaped to the wall of the bar, but only as a trophy not to actually sell. Tis a terrible thing to find out at 3 in the morning when you've been eyeing them all night. :(

And I'd be surprised to hear if it is possible to buy Harp or Macardles or Kaliber non alcoholic beer anywhere beyond these fair shores
