Planning on going into town for a few beers. The plan was too meet in Ba Mizu
But found out 5 mins ago that this place has closed down

Then I heard other rumours of other bars and restaurants closing down.
Do you know of any well known establishments, shops, restaurants, hotels closing down due to the recession?

They've fixed it up a lot lately, They moved the customer service desk to make more space and added a big TV about it, Removed the ugly looking rock/Water features about the place, And added in new ceilings with different colored lights.

Had a date a few weeks back and thought we'd go to Ba Mizu. Ended up walking up and down South William St. for about 5 minutes looking for the entrance. I thought I was going insane!
Don't think she was too impressed. She wasn't from these here parts and was probably thinking "this guy doesn't even know his way round his own city"

There was no second date. Damn recession.

Nothing wrong with anywhere. It was more the fact that I was walking around trying to take a girl to a place that didn't even exist anymore! That's not too cool.

"I know I was fairly drunk last time I was in this place but i'm sure it was right here" :o

Well, to be honest, I wasn't too keen myself, so the subsequent non-communication has been pretty mutual. :P

It was one of those dates that involved lots of long, uncomfortable silences. I'm sure you know the kind!

This is going way off topic but yeah, I probably am one of those guys - don't mean to be wasting anyone's time that's for sure.
But for sure i'm not always the most talkative :o. I do silences better than most. It kind of depends on how well I hit it off with the other person.

nah the rules are that if they charge you a higher price at the tils than that stated on the shelf they will give you a full refund on the entire price you paid, so you get the item free,

edit; ok slightly off topic so apologies
