Recession has ruined my plans for tonight

ehh it's Dublin, it's the Capital of one of the biggest drinking countries in the world.

I'm so sure there are a shortage of pubs in Dublin :rolleyes:

Lots are meant to be on the verge of it. My sister was warning me not to buy anybody gift tokens for xmas (I usually get the folks restaurant ones), she works in a bank and has heard lots are having trouble.

Jack & Jones, Virgin which changed to Zavvi and is now River Island, Some shoe shop, The Gadget shop, And there's a few others.

They've fixed it up a lot lately, They moved the customer service desk to make more space and added a big TV about it, Removed the ugly looking rock/Water features about the place, And added in new ceilings with different colored lights.

Had a date a few weeks back and thought we'd go to Ba Mizu. Ended up walking up and down South William St. for about 5 minutes looking for the entrance. I thought I was going insane!
Don't think she was too impressed. She wasn't from these here parts and was probably thinking "this guy doesn't even know his way round his own city"

There was no second date. Damn recession.
