Some guys have asked for alternative accomodation other than the Crowne Plaza, as they prefer not to stay in the same place as the tournament.

Macspower has very kindly offered his services to you guys..

you can contact him direct paul@failtehotels.ie

    thanks

    Bru

there are lots of places to stay if you dont want to use the Crowne Plaza Hotel
but hey, at these rates its a super place, have you seen it? NICE

travelodge does room rates and you can all sleep in 1 room, on the floor if you like

plenty of B&B's round Santry too

Bewleys is only up the road aswell, so plenty of choice

this event if starting to fill up, though mainly offline at the moment

if you want to play but dont have a credit card, pm us and we can arrange it
you still have to download the peogram and then we place a token or voucher in your account and you use that instead of credit card, obv you have to pay someone in cash, but well before the event

bizzarely, over 140 French have registered into the poker site, but only 4 have transferred their money into the event online

if they dont do it, they wont be playing

Would it be possible to play one day and deal for the rest of the tournament, Derek, or is it a case of one or the other?

    Thats possible Ok.

But you would need to co-ordinate this with Danielle.:eek:

so long as you dont turn up in a dealer uniform on the day you are playing, then its not a problem,

as Bru says, make sure you co-ordinate that with Danielle

Dealers wont be allowed to play cards while in their uniform

Waiting on some figures coming back from some of the live satellites before i can give you a definite on this Dom.
Clamper would have better knowledge of this.

But i don't envisage any registrations on the day unless for alternatives

    Thanks

The main thrust of my question is to whether reg could be full conceivably with only 50 or so showing up online as having reg'ed.

If you register offline, we will put a token in your online account which you can use for whichever day you wish to play.

    Thanks again

    Bru

Dom, this is my understanding of registrations so AFAIK all registrations will show online

Not all registrations will show online:mad:

We can't physically make all registrants register online, but to assist, and if the mods agree, we can post all registrants along with the seat draw the day before the event

    More news

Ross from poker Room tallaght will be sending along his Massage Girls to keep everyone relaxed.

JP has very kindly agreed to come along and assist us (keep us in line) to make sure everything runs smoothly and up to his usual standard.
    Thanks JP

Or on the other hand register for day 1, and avoid all the sharks as they'll be down the Fitz:D.

Sorry just one other thing, is there still spaces on 28th (Day 1B)?

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,872 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Is it possible to get a refund from online registration if one had to unregister? By this I mean, get money sent back to you without having played on the site in any other way shape or form.

I was delaying regging until I knew when I might be asked to work over christmas, and I might have to work on the 29th. I don't want to reg though if I will be forced to play online and risk losing my money before being able to withdraw it. If I was to put money on the site it would only be to register for this tourney.
