Do you know when there's a big red button saying do not press, when you're in a room on your own...
Multiply all the self control taken not to push it, by pi, without the decimal point and take note of the number...
On a scale of 1 to 10,
1 being not at all, 10 being really want to go;
Apply above number to that scale,
That is how much I want to go to them labs now...

Depends on the lecturer. Our HoD knocks 5% off for every lecture/lab that you miss, while someone else just uses it as a scare tactic.

It depends.

1). Most lecturers use it as a way to cover themselves. We'll say you fail the final exam, you can't complain to the Department Head that the lecturer was shít if you never attended labs/tutorials/lectures.

2). As OhMSGlive says, others will dock you % for not attending.

3). And others will decide if you fall below X% attendance you outright fail.

If your lecturer hasn't said anything about it, assume it's the first case.

Funniest moment of the week involved it, so would like to know more...

Well, we meet on Thursdays around 7pm, too, usually in the Jonathon Swift. Mondays at 7pm we meet for Speaker Development in SU room 3, then Thursday usually involves a debate or Private Member's Motion night - that's what we're doing this coming Thursday as far as I know

Forgot to mention that this is the same car that had some d-bag's head rammed into the passenger door leaving a large dent, wing mirror kicked, license plate torn off, and tire deflated all of last year in Briarfield.

Seriously getting sick and tired of all this bullshít.
