F-ing idiots around College Court! 3 ponies loose and what do people do? Chase them around a bit to get a good video... ffs... Myself and a girl in my course finally got them trapped between a car and a fence... rang Animal Welfare, told us to ring Gardai... rang Gardai and they sent out two ejits that were afraid of horses and could do nothing... in the meantime, the owner of the car came out with his housemates and tried to chase the horses off (horses don't eat cars, people!) so had to get thick at them to get rid of them... ended up getting a scarf off another girl in my course and catching one of them and leading them to the big field behind Schumann where they were this morning with the two girls mentioned above and another guiding the ponies...

Where's the common sense like...?:mad::mad:

I was wondering what those ponies were doing around. They were grazing out in the green area in front of the boathouse last night. Travellers must own them

Yeah, you could tell by the state of them that Travellers own them... well, I'd call these ones knackers (just because of the cruelty). The yearling really was just about to fall over from starvation, the other two were thin too and one of them was heavily pregnant. The yearling also had shoes hanging off it and trap marks on its side (disgusting). Welfare don't give a damn though, they don't want to get on the wrong side of knackers so they'll just let them starve to death instead or hope someone else deals with them.

Which welfare centre did you call? LAW or ISPCA (Limerick branch?). LAW can be very under burden at times though
