I know it said in a letter I got about paying fees, that if they weren't paid by the 18th we wouldn't be able to access results tomorrow.
BUT I contacted the college and told them about the mix up with my grant (they said I wasn't entitled, turned out I was, taking even longer now etc etc.) and I also got an email from the access office saying not to pay these fees if I am waiting on a grant. So, will I be able to see my results tomorrow, basically?

I got locked out of my student portal last year and was able to view my results via an alternative link !

i agree this is my 1st time doing pre xmas exams. but all my post xmas exams results were out within 3 weeks and u had class for some of them making it seem shorter.

Also all results are out at 9 tomorrow what are the chances of the site crashing as a result?

IIRC, this is only the second time this new results system is being used. It seemed to work excellently in summer, can't remember anyone suffering crashes like we were used to.

https://www.results.ul.ie/ won't even work for me. Is it down for everyone else?

My results aren't there yet anyway. Could only get into the test site too. That link is not working for me either Daniel S.

So, what about the people who live... say... 200 odd miles away and won't be about in time to stop the fees office denying you access to your results as you haven't paid fees you don't have to pay but they insist you do? The email service is there for exactly that kind of thing.
I wasn't aware that it was there for non-uni related things, like a space competition I couldn't care less about but oh no, I agree, we should definitely travel all that distance, cutting a holiday short, just so emails got through our student mail aren't university related.

    Here here

I wonder how many times we'll be asked to confirm our modules this week. :pac:

I can't see how people have a problem with this, you just need to go to www.si.ul.ie, click on confirm modules, hit confirm twice twice...

    Done,
    No €200 fine for me!

Although signed into Aplia there to register new module for online tests and they're trying to charge me $19 for something I've already paid €63 for last semester, it can go fcuk itself...

Hi all - We've been getting a good few emails in relating to registration and SAA have gotten back to us with the following statement:

"Registering is currently available and on-going for Week 1 however should you get the following error message "Unable to fully schedule modules. Some modules have been previously taken." please email saa@ul.ie and you will not incur €200 registration fine. This message is being investigated by our third party vendor and we will issue an information update when available"

So don't worry if you are having difficulty registering if you contact SAA you wont get a fine. We will keep you posted with regular updates on how the situation rectifies itself.

Everyone gets an automated response when they email SAA.

As long as you have a record of sending them an email you're covered.
