Are many of the Phoenix Park deer tagged?

The fawns are tagged each year by UCD and the Park Rangers. They also record the gender and take fur samples. There are extensive studies on the herd each year. Obviously some fawns are missed year but the majority are tagged.

Don't know what it was exactly. Some sort of multi-coloured sweet or marshmallow I think.

It was pointed out to me by a lecturer on a fieldtrip to Killarney National Park. I think the berries that you can see in the scat are Yew Taxus baccata berries.
