1kw wasn't enough to run my rig with both 5970 4gig cards and cpu at 4.2ghz maxed out. Sapphire recommended a 1200watter and the AX1200 can peak around 1500w. Apparently these uber 4gig 5970's use more juice then gtx 480's which is scary. Quietish though.

    I like those screens :D

But can it run Crysis :)

I bet you dont need a radiator on in that room with that thing running.

College is coming back up soon so i think the 3 monitor setup is too much of a distraction (gaming wise). Might try trade em for one 30" and use that for work.

    Does 2 x 2408wfp for 1 3008wfp sound fair to you guys?

Holy zombie jesus, that is one horse of a computer. The money the government spent bailing out AIB could probably have gotten us a pc similar in spec to yours. A much better investment it would have been as well.

Best place to get watercooling is specialtech.co.uk . Some places in europe may be a bit cheaper on some prices but specialtech offer the best overall watercooling solutions.

Now lads have to say some nifty machines but I say why buy an expensive case that takes up space on the floor? Well ill just make myself a built in one into the shelf :)

Specs: C2D 3.8Ghz, Asus P5N-D, 4GB OCZ reaper, Asus GTX 295, 2x 500GB, Xfi- XtremeGamer, Aerocool Controll panel too as it just looks that good :)

    * now to figure out how to put in pictures.... *

Here's the Warhead bench at 1920x1200 with 8XAA, DX10, Enthusiast settings. The min, average, and high are better then a GTX 480 SLI setup which people keep saying has smoother framerates over better averages. It doesn't.

Also here is another pic. I added the Corsair Dominator Ariflow fan but replaced the pants Corsair 60mmx20mm fans with some quiet Revoltec jobs :) Just waiting for Corsair to ship me an AX1200 now as it seems all the ones on this side of the world are gimped with coil whine issues. I also got rid of my hot WD Caviar Blacks and replaced them with some Samsung F4 Eco's which are almost as fast but a hell of a lot quieter and cooler.

60 second job disconnecting the wheel and shifter mate :) infact i more often than not dont have the shifter attached to the desk, only the odd mod i use but normally just the wheel.
My fupping headset broke over the weekend after over 3 years of service :(
Gonna buy one of them G35 logitech headsets, the bro got one on his new rig and fcuk me i was shocked with the sound, simply amazing.
