Its a lottery so folks - best of luck but I have to say I giving up hearing that only 10 will be taken on. Surely 10 peope out of 100 will have a family connection to the company....oh well

Was thinking that myself, hopefully get an interview anyway. Good luck to everyone.

To be honest I thought at this stage they weren't taking people on, so small bit of hope if they're interviewing 300!

Got a letter this morning....interview is Monday in Dublin, had me in good form going into me last exam for the leaving cert anyway!
It says that the issues discussed will be teamwork and achieving your goals, also i know that safety is very important in the esb.
Anybody have any other ideas or tips about what i should discuss in the interview, sort of nervous for it as it is my first interview??

Got a letter from ESB confirming interview for next thursday, bit nervous haven't had interview for bout 11 years. Don't like the sound of those odds 30-1, thought there were 100 places with 500 making interviews. Fingers crossed!
