HobGoblin or some ales from the Black Sheep brewery.
Yeah, some really nice stuff from there, also the Shepard Neames brewery does some cracking ales.
After being in Thailand last year i became quite attached to one of the local brews called Singha.;)
There was another one called Chang which was a lot stronger (not a bad thing mind) around the 6% mark. Only downside was a blinding hangover we named a " changover". Seen them both for sale in a couple of the better local beer shops:D

Wow, I had the exact opposite from both them beers. Can't drink Singha, monster hangover, so I'm a Chang man when in Thailand :)

I lived in Singapore and avoided Tiger at all costs as it left me with a huge hangover. I preferred Anchor.

On DesF's advice, I stuck to Chang in Thailand.
Very drinkable ( actually very very) and no crushing chemical hangovers.

Before I discovered porter, I used to enjoy McEwan's 70 shilling ale.

But now, unless I'm abroad there is only Guinness.

Could somebody selotape on an Erdinger to the edge of my photo please. Im all out! :p
sioda: that beer in the tall glass is a Weissebier so I'm sure it'd do fine. Germany is made up of small localised breweries. Erdinger, like Kombacher and a few others just became a little more widespread and European-wide.
Sanwald is one of my favourite Weissens.

    Some of my favourites are:

    Paulaner
    Schneider Weiss
    Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
    Timothy Taylor Landlord
    Cains IPA
    Hoegaarden
    Porterhouse Temple Brau
    Leffe Blonde
    Little Creatures Pale Ale

He was the Fat Controller from Thomas the Tank Engine.
I'm now toying with The Cook from the Far Side.
Shaggy may well return. I'll give The Cook a day or so.

See that would involve work and judging my recent post count here (80+) it's something I'm not very good at. I have seen a Cleetus Avatar floating around here somewhere though............

Given the choice of any beer in the world i would drink.....whiskey!

Honestly haven't been able to stomach beer since i drank 3 pints in under 20 seconds a few years back.

    Oh the folly of youth!

Most Czech beers ie: Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, Staropramen & Budvar ( but not Krusovice).

Failing that I enjoy Heineken & I am quite fond of Kilkenny.
