i got a set of eric bristow 24g harrows darts about 5 or 6 years ago in argos, wasn't really mad about darts at the time but after playing with them for years any other dart i pick up just feels weird,

i use short nylon stems and standard flights, usually an assortment i get from brenfers on capel street, might try the pear shaped ones though, are they any use...?

Hi all, i got a set of Datadart Champions 23g. They look exactly like the ones Barney uses and am wondering if they are the same? You can buy Barney's darts but they are marketed as "Triple B" and there is no mention of Datadart. Can anyone explain what the differences in the darts are?

Are they these? If so then it is the trible B. I use them myself as stated above.

They're the darts alright but I didn't get the 'ghost grip' version. Figured they looked the exact same as the Barney's but were a bit cheaper so it made no sense to get the Barney branded ones!

Really like them as I have replaced a set of 25g Assassins with them and the barrel length and grip really suit. Weight seems a bit better for me too. Would like to change tips though so might try and get some of the grooved tips and have a go off switching them.

The ghost grip is good on them. However I still find myself putting a bit of chalk on the hands. They are great value. I find a long stem and standard flights work well for me. Getting great grouping with them. Really glad I decided to give them a second go. Have hit lots of good scores with them..

70 quid for darts is madness.

Found them on Darts Corner for £47.49 which is not too bad.

Better than €70 no doubt but still a fair chunk of change for something that probably wont suit the average player.

Anyone know where you can get the Co Stompe darts, had a look on a good few darts sites and can't find them, Datadarts don't appear to have an official site and they seem to be in short supply in general with most online sites just doing Unicorn. Any help much appreciated - Also do you know if you can get them in 26g+?

This dutch store sells them. Not sure if they ship to Ireland though, you will have to check that out.

My recent trek looking for darts led me to this E-Bay site, the guy who runs it gets 100% positive feedback and has one of, if not the best selection of darts I've ever seen on the net, includes pricing to Ireland and next day delivery.

    http://stores.ebay.ie/Darts4Sale

Led me to another idea, that maybe we should setup a sticky for buying darts and equipment online. I can start with a few anyway

    www.9dartshop.com
    www.dartscorner.co.uk
    www.stantondarts.co.uk

    Probably loads more.

And something so important, most people cant just go to a shop and buy a new set of their stolen darts.

    Here's a new set I just ordered (23g):

    I need the extra grip.

Bit the bullet and bought Sigma Pro 950's 24g to replace my Harrow Zone's. Really liking them. The grip is unreal, so much so that I ripped the skin on my thumb and index finger trying to take the slikstik stems off!! It was ok though it wasn't on my throwing hand.
Brought them to the pub for my match last night with no intentions of using them but used them as I was throwing really well. Hit 4 180's(two before the games started, one in my doubles game and one in my singles) and also had a 12 darter before the games started. As ye can imagine I am really, really happy!

    Just hope it lasts :)

m%20gold%20al%20m%202(1).jpgI got these Adrian Lewis 24g Golden Maestros at Christmas to coincide with the purchase of a new dartboard for the odd home game. One bad thing about them is that it's a nightmare trying to get flights on the "Maestro Shafts" and the they tend to come loose in the barrels quite a lot. Just wondering is it just a bad set of shafts or is it a common problem with them? I'm going to get a set of locking rings to prevent the shaft becoming loose or I might even change the shafts all together for some other brand. Do players normally chop and change between brands e.g Harrows shaft on Unicorn Dart Barrel or is it not recommended?

dont worry about the company just pick what feels right, i'm using james wade 20g darts with deflecta short stems and winmau flights never really worry about them all being from the same company
