Things to ponder about Airsoft (not for the 56kers)

Okay so you are playing airsoft now. here are some of the issues you will meet.

1. I am awesome
er. no you are not. Just because you are unique doesnt mean a lot in airsoft. remember you are unique, just like everyone else.

and there is only one awesome human in the universe

in fact when you play airsoft you are more likely to wear the red shirt

2. The rules

rules, well you need to follow them. Remember, you will ALWAYS be found out

another rule, is not to be insulting and to leave your anger at home

for example

and its sometimes best to listen to what your mother told you. basically to shut up and keep your opinions to yuorself

in fact here are a few other things to think about, we all hate moaners. dont be this guy

Airsoft is a non contact sport, well except for bb's, they do a lot of contact, but dont be a moron, like this

You will need perseverance. you will be crap but eventually you will win big

but remember no matter how cool you think you are, you will never beat this

you may even pull off some amazing shots that will stun your team but remember fame is fleeting

Airsoft is about the right attitude

making decisions

and taking chances

of course you will screw up, remember you will be involved in a friendly fire incident, but always remember fairness

so how do you handle friendly fire, well remember

the gear

you will start investing and at some stage start picking at your aeg, remember one thing about doing something you have no clue about

yes it is gross but so is not having a clue

you will need camo but remember camo doesnt always work

but when it does

incidents

you will get hit, a lot. you will experience incidents like this

and indeed there is always a complete muppet on your team

you will meet unexplainable hits

you will see hits that make no sense

you will realise all those years of counterstrike, sitting on yer fat arse actually didnt help

but sometimes you need to seize the opportunity

So what can you do, well for a start, keep it simple, well sometimes

remember sometimes to set your aim high

remember to use your brain

and to have a little inspiration

and to show a little captain kirk spirit

but when you decide to share a cunning plan it is sometimes best to remember the basics and keep yer mouth shut

you will need to show courage under fire (but no meg ryan accents please)

you sometimes will realise, looking for a back door is pointless and then the plan is to run , really really fast

other times though you will need more help to win

but keep in mind that sometimes your team is just crap. i mean really crap

then all you need is practice and lots of it

you will also realise why more is always, well -- more

and the more the better

sometimes though you will wind up the last player ...alone...soo soo very very alone

then you need to keep your powder dry, your eyes open

and resist the temptations, well sometimes, for the easy shot

its then and only then that you realise why people are dressed ready for action

having the right tools for the job are important

and then of course, thats when you get careless. you mistake gear and weapons for skill...never do that

you will get paranoid sometimes, you have lots and lots of aegs, maybe the world is as bad as some say it is

you will start to post your opinions on line, remember the web is not just for christmas, its forever

so lets go over some of the rules, and when we say kill we dont mean it, remember this is a friendly way to kill people

you need trigger discipline..watch those fingers on triggers!!! AND its called a SAFE ZONE FOR A FUKIN REASON!!!

so dont be a hypocrite

and dont be a noob

its all in the details, yes airsoft is the details and your eye for a shot(yes there is a TREX in the photo!)

so you want to win, keep these concepts in mind

The bit with the equation saying "here it is", I've done that in a Maths exam in college. It wasn't an important exam and the lecturer was giving me guff all week so I went in pissed and did every silly thing I could to that test. There's another one of those that says

Expand:
(a+b)^2=x

( a + b ) ^ 2 = x

( a + b ) ^ 2 = x
