    yup, all wrapped up.

now i need to decide whether it's worth buying a macbook pro NOW or if they'll update it in a week or so?

There's a fairly large margin around the screen of the Macbook Air, does that meen it'll actually be wider/longer than the current macbook?

iPod Touch has gone down in price. €279 for the 8GB and €369 for the 16GB.

Meh, fairly mediocre keynote imo. I won't be reaching for my credit card anyway.

The MBPs will probably get a quiet update in the next couple of weeks.

So new buyers are paying less for more features while we early adopters are being charged more?

Ah well guess I'm getting an XPS 1530.. Can't justify buying the air as I don't travel much (or can I).

I was anticipating at least a penryn update in the MBP and maybe a multi-touch pad.

Any news on how the new version of iTunes handles jailbroken touchs? Also how is the update handled are you nagged to pay €17.99 when you plug the thing in?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,534 ✭✭✭Dman001

I have feeling that when/if I buy the update they will give it away for free. Last year Apple said movie downloads were coming last year. $3100 for the MBA SSD version.

I'm having serious doubts about buying it....

No dedicated graphics memory, mono internal speaker, combined audio in/out jack, no firewire.......i'm gonna wait and paw one before i decide!!!

I think I've talked myself out of it. Doesn't look sturdy enough for travel, weird specs as in it appears to be underpowered, it's bigger than I want. Bah:(

If it was a 10" WS display with matching form factor and 800 dollars less I would be preordering NOW! As it stands, it doesn't really look like a worthy replacement to my trusty Macbook.
