now my little brother deals with the same issue and GTA
    ha ha ha:D

Jeez....I thought I was the only one.
My five year old, Ryan (you may have seen him at HRTA) can navigate from almost any landmark at one end of the world in GTA San Andreas to any other on the opposite side without looking at the map.

He knows where to find a lot of the special vehicles, and loves killing innocent civilians with the attack chopper. He'll be in prison by the time he's 14.

I had a few Amstrads with the tape decks, hilarious stuff really had it for games, some real classics like operation wolf and R-type

Let's start a "Bring Back Macaroon Bars" campaign. If they can get the Fat Frog and the Wispa back, then Macaroons are sure to follow.

They must be 10c though. In keeping with tradition. And have those wierd paper wrappers.

R-type was one of the few amstrad games I was bothered with. When I got it on the original Gameboy and Game Gear back in the day though I was in heaven. R-Type on the move. Epic.

    Stuff

Cadbury have a macaroon version of their dairy milk bar. Its actually quite delish.

And the old Amstrad...a mate of mine had one. Fantasia Diamond was the only game he'd let me play though. I used to love those old text adventures.

I never saw R-Type on the Amstrad, but I had it for the Amiga I think. Or
    possibly the C64...cant remember which.

I just had a flashback of playing Shadow of the Beast for hours on the Amiga, and eating strawberry sherbets while playing. Even after all these years when I think of that game, I get a faint taste of strawberry sherbet in my mouth. Ahh...what it was to be a young chap :)

I had the conversation many a time, driving on the path in GTA with the classical music station on does not make you insane, and is incredibly enjoyable:D

My favorite weapon in GTA-> the flamethrower (especially the killing spree ones!)
oh and of course the Tank...

Haha I never said "Stuff"! That's censorship!
I had it on the C64 too. I kinda liked the C64 but I always felt it wasn't going to last. It was the last of a breed. The first console I got after the C64 was a Famicom. Which was later released in the states and eventually over here as the NES. It was white and top loading and looked nothing like the NES at all despite being the same thing.

The best thing with the tank was turning the cannon backwards and firing it while driving. The recoil actually gave you a hell of a speed boost.

You might want to reconsider that. He has a gbb Mac10.

Refreshers were the best. Or the Giant Chew Bar (catchy name) which was a giant Stinger bar

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling
