What did I ever do to you?

You volenteered to get shot with Oisin's MAC11. That puts you firmly in the HRTA 'Crash Test' Program.

Oh God this weekend isn't over yet. 3-7 to the Patriots at the half. Brady's been getting beaten to hell by the pass rush and is only 8/15. The line are gapping left, right and center. And for some reason they keep playing Moroney exactly when they shouldn't. Why aren't they calling an audible when they see the stacked d-line and the shifted ends? It's clear they're reading the run, they ought to play-action out of it and pass on the flats or over the top.

I haven't slept since 8am on Saturday morning. 10 hours of HRTA, back home, party at a friends house, went to hurling match, back home cleaned my gear from the mud of the night op, now I'm watching the 'bowl. I have work in T-06:00.

But I'm a die-hard Patriots fan so I'll be up for the night

2nd half is on now, you're not too late to see either the Patriots make NFL history as the greatest team to ever play (fingers crossed) or the biggest upset in NFL history (dear God in Heaven please prevent that)

looks like god's not a patriot fan.
17-14 giants win;just saw the second half highlights.
Perfect season gone and I won a tenner in a bet:D

I'm gutted. I'm more angry though. There were some very questionable calls against the Pats. That false start called against Matt Light being one of the most glaring. Eli got lucky and that's a fact. He knows it. They played well and they fought hard and they deserved such a close score line, but the Pats should have won that.

Credit where credit is due though, I'm a die hard Pats fan, have been for some time now, and I'll be the first to admit that the Giants defensive line was outstanding. It was them that won the game.

I've already punched a guy and broken a tv screen over this loss, that's how p*ssed off I was and how seriously I take that game. I'm only back talking to my mother in the last hour because she took the mickey this morning before I left for work.

True, Brady was never allowed get into the swing of things.I enjoyed the game though i bet a tenner with a mate that the giants would win simply because i like to back the underdog.

    lol :D
Although ending the way it did so close to the end i wouldn't blame you.

I put a tenner on back in October that Pats would go undefeated, got 135/1 odds. It's rather compounded the anger I feel toward being cheated out of that win.

    Oh:eek:

I can't imagine how fustrating that must be
    jeez thats unlucky

You reckon there's any chace of them completing the perfect season next year?

Nah, they could win it alright, pretty easily if they played as well as they did this season again. Welker is amazing, Moss and Faulk seem unstoppable when on form. All they need is a good rookie reciever and a couple of decent db's or fast linebackers.
A perfect season is a once in a lifetime event. It's only been done once, back in 1972 by the Miami Dolphins. Half the reason I wanted them to win lay in getting them to shut up about that, they've been living off it ever since despite their dismal record in recent years.

Only 1 win and 15 losses for the dolphins this season.
Bragging about a season that happened 36 odd years ago makes them look fairly pathetic all right.
I just found out that theres a fantasy NFL league on NFL.com
I have a fantasy premier league team going so i'll give this a go too once the new season starts.

It's usually pretty good. I've done it a few years now but I got it hard to follow properly without Sky Sports to watch the games on. Now that I have that back I may well do it again.

Hot picks: Tom Brady, Wes Welker, Kevin Faulk, Tim Gostoweski, Asante Samuel, LaDanian Tomlinson, Brett Favre, Jeremey Shockey. For starters. That could change over the summer though.
