Anybody recognise this bullpup Jonas is using in episode 2 season 2 The Unit

    vlcsnap-526463.png

    Some sort of PDW?

    [edit] Weapons
The Unit shows the use of a variety of weapon platforms, dependent on their mission objectives and area of operations. Because of the nature of operations they perform, unit operators do not always use standard issue weapons for deniability reasons. They are however, often seen with AR-15-style rifles, namely the Colt M4A1 with or without the optional M203 40mm grenade launcher, and the Heckler & Koch HK416 (in the D10RS sub-variant, that has a 10 inch barrel) with optical sights (normally the Trijicon 4x ACOG, Aimpoint CompM2 and/or EOTech 552 Holographic sight). Other assault rifles used that are noteworthy are the Colt M16A4 rifle (outfitted with precision sniper scope), HK G36C, SIG SG 552 Commando rifle and the Fabrique Nationale FAL and FN F2000 (with the standard integrated FN optics removed) assault rifles. It is also worth noting that Unit operators have also utilized Russian AK-47 assault rifles outfitted with suppressors in an operation carried out in Iran for deniability reasons. For many of their undercover operations and close protection details, Unit operators also utilize submachine guns such as the Heckler & Koch MP5K and MP5N, and the Steyr TMP/Brugger-Thomet MP9. Although the operators rarely carry support weapons (such as squad machine guns) in order to keep mobility, they have also been seen using the FN M249 Squad Automatic Weapon. Needless to say, they are also proficient with crew-served emplaced weapons such as Browning M2 .50 caliber heavy machine gun and FN M240B mounted on military Humvees.

As all Unit operators are expert marksmen trained to hit head sized targets at various ranges, they have also used various rifles such as Knight's Armament Company SR-25, Heckler & Koch PSG1, Accuracy International PM, CheyTac M-200, and the Blaser 93 LRS2 Tactical.

Several pistols are noted, as it would seem that each operator takes the weapon of their personal preference. Some include the Kimber Custom TLE II carried by Jonas Blane, the SIG Sauer P226 carried by Charles Grey, Hector Williams and Bob Brown, a Glock used by Bob Brown and another custom M1911 carried by Mack Gerhardt and Tom Ryan. Mack Gerhardt also carries a Walther TPH for backup and deep concealment.

I havent used one of those specifically but the attachment seems identical to a similar folding stock I have used. I had to cut off a chunk of metal at before it could fit but it only took 5 mins to fit!

I'll show you tomorrow if you're at hrta.:)

WGC have them for 400. You do realise you'll need, at the very least, 6 40mm grenades for it too? They don't come with them. That'll bump the price up by at least 150. And that's only if you don't want enough that you can reload and go again with a fresh drum

Hum will have a look cheers.

Ye price gose up a lot but would be dam funny at HRTA.

    Cheers man.,:)
it looked a little short where the screw goes into the read of the gearbox so wasnt sure if it needs modding.,

600 bucks before shipping and customs (you will be hit by customs on that) for something that you'll rarely use and it's appeal lies in being "funny" is a lot of money. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind one myself, but I wouldn't get it unless I won the lotto. It's just not practical. If I had 600+ spare cash to only spend on airsoft gear I can think of a lot more practical uses for it. That money would get you any rifle you wanted plus an underslung grenade launcher and a barrow full of accessories.

Is it mini or large battery? I have a couple of minis lying spare from the G36

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling

its a mini fits into the hand guard ,not sure if you can squeeze a large into it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

definitely wont fit a large into an m4 handguard, the full stock m4 can take a large battery in the stock though

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

if i dont use the M4 tomorrow your welcome to use the Hicap from that,.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

I've got minis too. No hassle. I may not even need it but the offer is appreciated. Anywho, I'm hitting the hay. See you crazy people in the morning. I'll be the idiot wearing desert camo suited to hot climates in the Persian Gulf on a cold and frosty Irish winter morning
