Ah ok, I just assumed cos the problem you mentioned is pretty prominent in many dell lappys of a certain model.

Asus G1 ehh?? And I know what you mean about battery life. Personally it'd be the main reason to make me think wtf is the point in a gaming laptop :P especially when a PC makes much more logical sense (Yet I also have a gaming laptop... I dont know whyyyyy )

It was chrono'd just after usloading 3 gigs worth to flickr from today's games, and while downloading zombieland, so not bad I say., That was in the inlaws though, my own gaf is on NTL's doorstep so i get lightning fast speeds there.,
