Scotty worked at M5 long before mythbusters came about, as far as I know she got offered a job in another effects studio during the first season.

There was another installment of mythbusters after the one I saw, following on with all the James Bond myths. This is all I'm saying.

If the tip on the soldering iron is fecked you can take some sandpaper or even a file/emery board to it to clean all the crap off it, then let it heat up and run some solder onto it to re-tip it.

you shouldn't need to remove the trigger contacts, if the soldering iron is hot enough, it should heat the metal quick enough that the plastic wont melt

which mosfet you fitting anyway? is it a standard mosfet or the sw-computer?

And once scrapped, what do I do with the solder to re-tip the iron?

Was using a plasma torch today.

Kept stopping every few minutes and lifting the welding mask to see if Kari magically appeared.

Didn't happen.

The thought of it was awesome though.

The factors are mutually exclusive, there are only 3 things I look for in a woman.
1) Is she, or has she tendencies toward, being emo-fashion
2) Is she Swedish (I'd settle for Scandanavian)
3) Is she Kari Byron
Because I know all three of these factors cannot become one, I know I'm safe from dehydration and possible drooling.

Yeah that was the first show she was in. Not actually the best show I've seen, though the work she did on the mold afterwards to get it right was really good. Serious attention to detail.

I saw that Mythbusters too. Wasn't a fan of pigtails until then. Then again, I wasn't a fan of Miller TIG welders until she used one either so I might be biased.
