If I recall correctly, these laws were inacted in the darker days of the Troubles, where paramilitaries would set up fake chackpoints to catch their "targets".

With today's gangs getting more bloodthirsty, I say keep it for that, if not the pride in country thing.

Irish uniform: Earn it before wearing it. Shaft those who wear it undeservedly, that is the same (in my eyes anyway) as spitting on it. They deserve no leeway.

Defence Act 1954, troubles re-commenced, for a better term, in 1969 :rolleyes:

im a serving memeber of the RDF and i work on building sites..

you see people all the time wearing Irish DPMs to site either trousers, smocks or rain jackets.:mad:

all your short of seeing is someone coming in with cefo on and using it as a tool belt:D
