I just got her from the animal shelter. She's underweight, dry skin, sheading lots of fur and is missing a leg but shes lovely and just wants to cuddle up on my lap (which shes doing now) the photo was taken 5 minutes ago

The Sweeper

Bought the monsters a new cat tree. It's sitting beside the old one (which is wrecked), because I wanted to be sure they'd use the new one, scratch it and I could eventually phase the old one out and they wouldn't turn their attentions to my couch.

Apparently I don't need to worry about them using it.

Wow, Ruby is so big, last pic I saw was of her as a pup in little pink coat.
She's gorgeous.:)

Even after one day she's looking a lot better, her fur looks more black and has a little shine but her skin is still quite dry. She was playing for a little bit with me but it took some convincing for her to play, she mainly rests. She did wake me up in the early hours for something that I couldn't figure out what.
She's also getting a little pot belly so hopefully she'll get the weight up.


I'll get a better picture up one day but the isight is so much handier.

Orla give her a few days to settle in, both of my cats took at least two weeks to settle. When she's ready try her on some oily fish for her coat/skin - it'll do wonder's for it.
