    The latest addition...
    As yet unnamed.

What a gorgeous cat! She's very like my kitten Teddy. Some local kids found her on the beach presumably dumped. She was tiny, weighing only 400g and had a bad dose of catflu. Our vet warned us not to get attached.. that was 3 months ago....

    Thank you!
She's also pretty unique. She has 5 toes on each paw so they look huge!
Here she is with a foster kitten that was here a few weeks ago..

They are very alike, except the toes!

Our girl is just around 4months, she slept in my daughters bed last night, still a bit unsure of herself, had a warning growl at the cats and Oliver when he barked and play bowed at her, but she's a real cuddle monster and purrs like a train!

Teddy looks so pretty, I love the one with the boxer, hope our dogs can be as good friends with her as that. They love kittens, but want to play the minute they see them.

Lol poor Teddy with her huge unladylike feet!
I foster kittens so our dogs are used to them coming and going. The other two dogs are not bothered with them at all but Kali just adores kittens and is so gentle with them.
Any names for your lady yet?

  • Registered Users Posts: 583 ✭✭✭brrabus

I should be getting my first set of foster kitten shortly. Will be interesting to see how my two react, thought I would start them out of kittens to be safe.

I've had quite a few kittens through here, people think since I have a few, I'll take any stray, then there's always a fool that takes a kitten at 3 or 4 weeks, that I end up taking half dead. My dogs love kittens, but want them to play, Oliver will happily let them wrestle him to the ground, the big fool.

We are still trying to decide on a name, my daughter liked Penelope but decided no as she's classy to be called penny, Amber was another, or Hermione, current favourite is Isabelle, will update once decided.
Most of our animals names come from books.

She has no bother jumping in and out through the window....but once so far shes thought it was open when it was closed and took a running jump....didnt end well for her! And just tonight she went out into the rain, leaped back through the window, slid on the tiles the whole way down the kitchen and walloped off the cupboard! She takes it well tho!

Our family dog who we has since I was about 6 passed away last year at the grand age of 16 and my Mum was finally ready to get a new dog and so this is the new addition to the family:
Tiffy, 12 week old Chihuahua (My 10 year old sister did the naming :P )

    r79erk.jpg

My family lives in New Zealand, so unfortunately I don't get to meet her until my next trip home :(

And here's our other dog, Crumb (7 y/o Bichon x Japanese Chin) who seems to think Tiffy is her baby
