Roll is a 5 month old Airedale/Lab mix.....has been in a shelter since November and was due to be put down tomorrow, can't believe nobody adopted him before now, he's so playfull.

He joins our cat Bernie, 11 year old beagle Buster and 3 year or Border Collie/King Charles mix Daisy.

I didnt know her til last night when I spotted a picture of her on the EGAR FB page. I was showing my husband the pictures of Gem, her mum, as we are thinking about getting another dog as company for our 2 yr old staffie x dashund, that would be around her size and we read that Gem is small-ish. Their gorgeous dogs and I love their colouring.
Hope all goes well with Beryl's HV

Gem is a sweetheart alright and very calm. Beryl is a hyper puppy and Lexi is loving it. They have so much fun!

Thats mickey mouse compared to what a cat did to me.....and this pic was 3 weeks later when bandages finally came off

Just posted in the chillout zone thread about how I thought Mouse had calmed down finally, as she had slept most of the last few days.Within moments of the post this is what happened....








Then...


She climbed to her favourite spot to plan her attack

As you can see the sweeping brush was badly injured, and the poor dog wasn't impressed.
Oh and the mess came from the little bin she killed and rolled around the room in the 20 secs it took me to open the back door for the dog!

Mouse was found completely feral at about 4 weeks, badly injured, although not enough to stop her putting up quite a fight. We nursed her and waited for her to gain strength and walk properly. (back and leg were damaged and she kind of skidded about, running under furniture like a mouse, hence the name)
I had intended rehoming her (and got many offers of homes), but she won me over and is staying.
Her mother is a tabby fluffy and very pretty feral cat, dad unknown. She had two tabby siblings that didn't survive (killed by Tom cats) she got some nasty bites too, but got her just in time.

Just goes to show a feral kitten can become a wonderful pet, she was purring and being cuddled 24 hrs after we picked her up.

Moggie MK1. Another rescued feral kitten, just like Mymo's Mouse, who turned out to be a great companion and spends her days rarely out of arms reach.
