    All right I did a search for David Icke on boards in an attempt to find out how many threads this jack ass started. I found a thread in the archive and people there were sayiing stuff about lizard Gods and other shít like that. What a nut job.

    I would actually love it if there were lizards going around the place looking like humans or a room full of super powerful people making decisions which affect my daily life, but the reality is the world is run by idiots who can barely agree on anything and the lizard people are confined to tacky 80's sci fi shows.

    Hello friends. You need only look at the current state of the world for proof, but if that is not sufficient then I challenge you to disprove this:

    I dunno, she does sound like a bit of a twat.

    Are you the one that got banned for all those "Let's pray for Maddy" threads? Your name sounds uber-familiar.

    EDIT: What the fudge is up with all this coloured text? It's freaking annoying

    Yeah sure it is all as true as the lizard people who drink blood.
    Icke certainly at the start of his journey into his spirituality hit on some interesting things, but they were for the most part nothing new at all but new to him and he spouted off about them as if he had discovered them and then went totally off the deep end.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Icke
    Reptilian humanoids

    In 1999, Icke wrote and published The Biggest Secret: The Book that Will Change the World, in which he identified the extraterrestrial Prison Warders as reptilians from the constellation Draco. [24]They walk erect and appear to be human, living not only on the planets they come from, but also in caverns and tunnels under the earth. They have cross-bred with humans, which has created "hybrids" who are "possessed" by the full-blooded reptilians. [25] The reptiles' hybrid reptilian-human DNA allows them to change from reptilian to human form if they consume human blood. Icke has drawn parallels with the 1980s science-fiction series V, in which the earth is taken over by reptiloid aliens disguised as humans.

    According to Icke, the reptilian group includes many prominent people and practically every world leader from Britain's late Queen Mother to George H.W. Bush, Hillary Clinton, Harold Wilson, and Tony Blair. These people are either themselves reptilian, or work for the reptiles as what Icke calls slave-like victims of multiple personality disorder: "The Rothschilds, Rockefellers, the British royal family, and the ruling political and economic families of the U.S. and the rest of the world come from these SAME bloodlines. It is not because of snobbery, it is to hold as best they can a genetic structure — the reptilian-mammalian DNA combination which allows them to 'shape-shift'." [4]

    Icke has since published additional books on the same theme. His latest work sees George W. Bush, also a reptilian, playing a key role in what Icke alleges is a 9/11 conspiracy. In Tales From The Time Loop and other works, Icke states that most organized religions, especially Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, are Illuminati creations designed to divide and conquer the human race through endless conflicts. In a similar vein, Icke believes racial and ethnic divisions are an illusion promoted by the reptilians, and that racism fuels the Illuminati agenda.

    uh huh.

    In journalism, Green Ink is (humorously) supposedly the major identifying characteristic of written correspondence from self-aggrandising pedants, cranks, charlatans and eccentrics.

    Although no psychiatric equivalence with the preceding terms should be inferred, it is also used to refer to unusable correspondence originating with readers who are mentally ill.

    Regardless of the colour of ink used, it is common to refer to correspondence of any kind (including email and webpages) as being in "green ink", so long as it broadly fits the following identifying characteristics:

    * Stridency
    * Impertinence
    * Unreasonableness
    * Unrealism
    * Fancifulness
    * Obsessiveness

    If anyone is genuinely interested in forming any kind of opinion of the man try this link - it's a relatively unbiased channel 5 doc about him.

    I'm not pro or anti, just find the man intriguing. Was he actually a bbc sports presenter originally or did i hear that wrong?

    What a nutbag. So glad do you honestly believe that shít.

    To be honest, I'd be more inclined to say YOU'RE a nutbag for NOT believing in it. Let me just point out why for a sec.

    By you saying that reptilian extra-terrestrials don't exist, you are at the same time saying you have traversed to universe, categorized every life-form in the universe and come to the conclusion that there are NO reptilian extra-terrestrial beings ANYWHERE. Have you done this?

    Also, there are many mentions in ancient history of reptilians descending from the heavens and interacting with humans. Sumerians, Mayans, Zulus and MANY other civilizations report this in their scriptures. David Icke will show you all the evidence for this.

    Just look at the Bible with all its mentions of Satan's lizards and the lizard people, snakes etc.

    Again, instead of calling me mad, do your research and prove me wrong, I'd be happy to admit that I am wrong in where I'm heading.

    Love & Peace!

    Yep, then he got a thing for purple(?) shell suits and it all went a bit strange after that.

    Not sure when the lizards joined in with the crazy though.

    Yep. I did it the other day on my lunch break at work. Quite good. You should really see andromeda, it's lovely at this time of year.

    I never once said that extra terrestrials don't exist. Going on everything I have heard about him (which I admit is limited) I am saying he's a nutbag. I can't really remember but I learned in biology that tow species can only reproduce is they are of the same genus. If aliens do exist I think their biological make up would be very different to ours and therefore they'd not be able to mate with us. Can someone with more knowledge in this area clarify this.

    I have a lot of tolerance for nonsense on After Hours, but people with mental illnesses just depress me.

    How long are we going to let this topic go on for?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,805 ✭✭✭Setun

    I think that, after a certain amount of research and discussion, his theories on reptilians, prophets and religion have ruined any credibility his somewhat believeable and interesting ideas on media influence and the U.S/authority in general had.

    He occasionally seems to be about to make a good point but then loses his way or just goes too far with his theories.

    Ah, the old "Or can you prove it's false"... the lizards, the illimanati, the way that unless we admit you're right, we have to find some prat who'll talk for hours on end to prove you wrong...

    Not in the least, especially since he knows nothing of me and who I am. Yet, am I surprised to hear such a comment? Not really.

    I present information, I get called mentally ill. Well, whatever makes you feel comfortable being ignorant. :rolleyes:

    No, not at all. I have a liking to the colour green and it's the colour of the heart chakra (a personal thing for me), Irish countryside and green food which is so good for us.

    Also, I'm sick of the monotonous Grey in every post and think forums should be full of colour.

    It is very hard for people who have dyslexia to read and is harsh on the eyes and anoying.
