    Anyway, Im a bloke and I agree with you sillymoo, its is just common manners to reply. Even if the reply isnt something you didnt want to hear, he shouldve grown himself a pair of balls and been honest. So moral courage is the issue really here. Sounds like this dude hasnt got the guts to face you and tell you he's not interested. A lot of people are like this(men & women)Im afraid. Instead of dealing with a potentially awkward situation directly they just resort to avoidance. Yes it is spineless and shows a lack of character but sadly this type of person is all too common.
    I know this type of behaviour is very annoying so you must be seriouosly pissed off. Sorry this happened to you and I hope you meet a genuinely nice bloke soon enough.

    Now if I could just find my way back to the Athletics/training/triathlon board...............
