Found a Mango outlet in Tenerife while on holidays there recently. I was very excited but when I went in and tried things on I realised then why I dont own very many Mango clothes - the sizing is way out and I end up feeling like a short fat cow!

Got these red skinny jeans for €9.99, had to go up 2 sizes to pull them up on me:


This printed dress, my usual size didnt fit right so I went up a size and now I think it looks to big on me. €9.99


These jeans stood out to me in the shop, again I had to go up 2 sizes cos they weren't made for someone with thighs! Also they were made for some who is 7 foot tall! But I liked them too much, €12.99

They had lots of other nice things but a good lot of them just didn't fit when I picked up my sizes. I'm a 8-10 on top and 10-12 on the bottom and most things fitted like a 6 even when I read the labels for the correct sizing.

Got this cute little Pussycat London dress reduced to €14 in the sales in Debenhams. It has a lovely bow detail on the back too - It was a size 8 and the last size left so I thought I better try it on in the changing rooms before buying, and it actually fit me perfectly! Really surprised!

€31 delivered from eBay. I've been humming and hawing over these for a while. The missus will happily wear a leather skirt but she may have reservations about these. Regardless of the fact they are quite in fashion, she's not one to follow trends so it's a gamble.

These are actually in fashion but she didn't like it. No major issue wearing a leather skirt but not this. Ah well, I tried!

Finally, finally got sorted for 2 weddings. I posted 2 dresses here that I bought online and they both went back for refunds. I have searched town, Dundrum, Kildare, Malahide, Naas..... and could not find anything I liked or that fitted well.
Hit the jackpot in a tiny vintage shop called Quack and Dirk. Dress and shoes for less than €100. Sorry about the photos, the dress in SO much nicer in reality. Thinking of a gold clutch, bangle and maybe something ivory for my hair. No idea what though

Thanks Yellow Hen, I really wanted something a bit different. I had a pain going round the shops looking at the same stuff over and over. The 2nd wedding is a big one and I was afraid that I'd end up in the same dress as someone younger and skinnier than me The dress is so much nicer than the picture shows and she does alterations too. I'll gladly post a pic, cheers !

I got them from nordstrom.com. I'm in the US but I think they deliver internationally?

Just had a look and they are exclusive to Nordstrom for now but the range will be available on converse.com and elsewhere on 28th august

It's no help really but I got some similar dresses in Awear when they were around. New Look have some of the same brands so could be worth a try?
