Just to remind everyone that we are having our final satellite for the Irish open Tue 3rd April.

Seats are limited 120 players max so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Doors open from 7pm for single table feeder games/Blind Omaha etc.

Registration 8:30pm cards in the air 9pm,

€150 + €15 Buy-in 3,500 chips
€150 Re-buy/Top-up 5,000 chips

20/30 min Levels

No guarantee,

116 players played two weeks ago with ten players qualifying I estimate at least five tickets up for grab’s probably more.

Some Scandinavians arrived today asking about it so I anticipate a good turn out maybe even a sell out.

Hope to make it in for this for my 1st real IO Sat. but I may be acting nurse at home :-( (nothing kinky ok) If I don't make it. I'd like to wish the players that know me all the best and I hope you get a ticket for this, I may have to wait until next year. Make sure you book tomorrow morning off work also otherwise you'll end up getting a ticket and then be too knackered by Friday to play your best.

Dom as there are a few tickets, please dispense with JJ as though it were 22. (sorry I managed to see the final table online last night..:eek: .)

Tell me about it. I think the one prize aspect had me being too ambitious. Preflop I went between folding, going all in and calling in the space of about 2 seconds in my head. I hated the flop, yet still went against my instincts 'on a gamble'.

Drafted a friend of mine into the Syndicates game on Sunday, he heard about the SE game there turned up and won a ticket......:-)

As for me, still havn't played a Sat yet and now it looks like I'm coming down with a bad dose of something. So if I had one I'd be a doubt anyway..... I'd advise people to stay at home until Friday as there is some mad bug going around.

I went out before the break!!! apparently my AK sooted is no match for A3offsuit and a raise preflop, and oh everyone is physcic and can see that I raise to 500 with Pocket Kings in MP and noone plays:( Then the next hand there is all ins all over the shop. I played very poorly in spots aswell, didn't feel great to be honost and while sitting there playing cards realised that I didn't want to be there. Better shake this feeling quickly cause Fridays coming up soooon.

Congratulations Dominic and im delighted for willow aswell. As you would say yourself about bleedin time.

Cheers all. There were 125 runners for 10 tickets last night.

Apart from a deperation all in with K8 sooted and dogging AK with AT when I had already raised and a shorty went all in I was never in danger really. I got either really bad cards or fairly good cards in the main. For a finish our table has no real short stack when 6 handed (smallest 50k) while the other table had two players that let themselves get to under 20k, and they both went out on the same hand for a finsih to remove the tension.

Mate just rang me, he was one of 3 short stacks, (3rd lowest) . He had A7 , one of the big stacks opened raised for about 6k, shortstck one all in, shortstack 2 all in, he called. 4 or 5 of them check it down to eliminate the two shortstacks. (Flop A7 he didn’t bet) And Bobs yer Aunties live in lover .....good luck to him I think he'll need it but he's over the moon...
I hope he does well as he is a real life bad beat Joe, he was the guy called on his set of 4s by a bloody gutshot from one of the wags on this board at JPs game....

Is there a website covering this as I don't expect to be able to get down to watch due to illness.

no such luck my end. apparantly when i open push UTG for 13 bb's the chap in the big blind who has 9 big blinds is "priced in" and calls on the blind. AQsuited no good against 34off. this is 4 tables out... can ANYONE explain this call to me?! leaving me with 4 blinds, i push with k10 against 77, flop had to be k77. when i got moved to table 4 with 36 players left i heard the following conversation:

a: "you just missed aces getting cracked by my KQ"
b: "i cracked em earlier"
c: "me too"
d: "yea, so did i... and kings earlier too!"
a: "i dont like aces anyway, they get you in so much trouble"
b: "yea, tell me about it, i ALWAYS lose with them"
c/d: nodding in agreement...

prizes for guessing who the 4 chip leaders at my table were?! anyone!? stupid game this!! playing jackpot cash league tonight and then im done for a while!
