Rang Ibood today for a tracking number as I still didnt receive the Ibood box I ordered on the 10th of march.
They contacted the delivery crowd for a tracking number and rang me back and informed me that the package was delivered on the 28th and signed for by CL!!!!

    What a shower?
I dunno whether to blame Ibood or the Delivery Guys.
There sending me another one so its not too bad but still......
    Someone has my Ibood box:mad:

have been in a similar situaion to you. Ordered the same item yet no delivery. Rang them the other day and was told )after a half hour on the phone) that they had delivered my package to Belgium!
Firm promises to send another out the same day and would email me back with tracking number...have had no email 48 hours later.

I'm unable to ring them intil next week now, so if anyone is on the phone to them do free free to hurl a small amount of abuse on my behalf :D

Well, my stuff's in the delivery depot (Parceline) in Santry since Thursday or Friday and I'm just having difficulty co-ordinating with them to get the delivery. So, 1 month give or take from date of order. I don't mind that so much if they'd just said "delivery: 4 weeks" but they said to expect within 5 - 7 working days. It's gonna have to be a very sweet deal if I'm going t obuy off them again.

I ordered the 30 Gig Multimedia Player on the 29th of March. No sign of delivery. When I checked the account it just said in progress. does this mean it's being posted or are they just waiting until they sell all of them before posting them out?

Can someone give us their number? Surprisingly it's not very visible on their website!

You should receive an eMail saying something along the lines of:
    Dear iBOOD'ian,

Thank you for your order on iBOOD.
We have shipped you your order today.

You will find more information about your order underneath.

    Your order:
1x Inflatable Adolph Hitler Sex Doll (1 per iBOOD`er) at EUR 114.95

    Subtotal: EUR 114.95
    Postage charges: EUR 12.50
    Total amount: EUR 127.45

All prices shown are including VAT

    *Address*

...... Have you placed more orders on iBOOD.com than is show above? Go to iBOOD.com, and check the status of your other orders at "your iBOOD".

    Have fun!
No phone number given though. It was 11 days after ordering my latest iBOOD before they shipped it... can't say it was worth the wait! :D

Ordered a wireless music center off them over a month ago emailed them yesterday still hadn't been delivered they said it had got returned to them twice because of failed delivery. There was never a note in my door so I question was it even sent, don't think I'll be using them again.

To be honest.. that's more Interlink's fault.. they're absolutely useless!

iBOOD e-mailed me yesterday to reply to an e-mail i sent a fortnight ago asking for my IBood Box to be sent. It was sent the following day and they e-mailed me back asking if it was delivered and if not, they'll look into it.

E-mailed them back saying it still hadn't been delivered after almost a month since order (i know it's in some Interlink depot somewhere, even though i've been, or someone's been, in my office Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm every day). And gave them a strongly worded e-mail asking them to change Irish couriers or BE prepared to lose business. Will let ye know if i hear anything back.

However!! arrived home yesterday after work and found a package sitting on my doorstep with a €100 item inside that I ordered about tweo weeks ago. I'm living in the centre of a town so was I lucky it was still there or what? Who delivers for them? An Post would never call and dump the package outside the door if there was no answer.

In all fairness to the courier company ibood use (who are still crap seeing as even though they have my mobile numebr they cant ring me for directions and instead say "cant find the house" and send the parcel back to ibood!) an Post will most assuredly leave your parcels sitting on the doorstep. Got a bonus from work a few years ago of €2000 of training CDs. All lovely until I arrived home to find them sitting on my doorstep. Has happened with anything sent from play.com as well. wouldnt mind but it would only take me 5 minutes to get it collected from the sorting office! So far I havent received 3 games from play and 2 t-shirts from tshirthell. Now I get things delivered to my mothers work place.

On topic, I received two aprcels yesterday from ibood. One was 2x maglite torches. they were woefully inadequately packaged , a standard white bubble wrap envelope. Both thin cardboard boxes were tattered. One torch had a broken bulb (though this could have happened when the torch slid out of the box as it disintegrated in my hand). I mailed ibood to inform them of this condition more to let them know than to complain. They mailed me back 20 minutes later to explain that they do not actually send out their own products and they do use local couriers to deliver. They apologised and asked to be kept notified of any damaged/substandard deliveries. I would recommend everyone email their customer care - who do answer! - and inform them of their problems. at the least they will warn the couriers to smarten up. might even offer replacements/refunds if the damage is bad enough.

Which courier company do they use?

I just had an empty envelope which was meant to have a multimedia hardrive in it arrive.

I was a bit flustered and very stupidly didn't get a tracking code or anything off the guy. He had an electronic gizmo for signing (to refuse receipt of item) so no receipt either.

I rang Interlink and they claim not to use those electronic gizmos. So is it Parcelink?

Last thing i ordered had Parcel-link take it from the UK to Ireland and Interlink took it from there.

To answer my own question it seems that TNT do their deliveries.

I spoke to a nice Dutch man in iBood about my problems, and he said it should be an easy case to sort out and that another one would be sent out "welll... not too long" (he's said that a few times!)

For other people with issues the phone number for iBood is:
    0031 20 6811 388

Don't ring them till my guy's had a chance to sort out my problem though! ;)

(I had already tried TNT by the way and they couldn't find a record of it - they seem pretty incompetent!)

I've been waiting well over for a month for a package to arrive too.

I finally got an email back from ibood saying that it had been shipped the week I ordered it. Not only that, according to the courier it had been signed for at my address!

That isn't possible, so it would seem that TNT or Parcelforcelink or whoever are either lying, thieves or incompetent.

Ibood said they'd get a copy of the signature and send a copy to me. Not holding my breath though.

Cheers for the phone number. Going to ring it and get a refund.

They don't answer me! I have sent five emails over three weeks without even an aknowledgement.
I have not had confirmation as promised on the phone three days ago either. I can only hope that the Belgian person who did recieve my order is enjoying it

TBH I have given up any realistic hope of any resolution. For the sake of €25 I really can't be arsed to chase it any more.

Exact same boat!!! But they want me to send them a copy of my signature on a official document, presume passport or something.... Last time I'll order from iBood but in fairness to them the courier service in Ireland is rubbish!!! I'm having constant problems with deliveries....

OT, but Gotta laugh at todays offer on ibood. A4 tech USB Hub

    Normal price 17€, our price €8 (+ €12 delivery)

I like ibood, and i occasionally buy from ibood, but they seem to have deviated from a good business plan, to cut corners everywhere, and seem to be trying to make as much money as quickly as they can. If they dont get their act together, they're gonna end up loosing a fortune in potential money

The guy said they were having problems with the couriers and were using new ones and the TV will ship tomorrow. Just thought id post in case anyone else is waiting on this item.

    I've ordered 2 things from Ibood , GPS & 2 x Digital Cameras total EUR 500.00

The Cameras I had sent to my mothers address as I'm in work during the day, they took 2 weeks to arrive, I only found out that they had arrived when it turned out that Interlink had left them on top of a flower pot outside my mothers front door where everyone could see them!!! , lucky enough they stayed there.....

The GPS I got delivered to my work address, delivery was a little slow but it took 3 weeks & arrived safe and sound....:D

thats not acceptable , no wonder 1/2 the people posting have not received their "goods" cause they have been pinched more than likely. Leaving packages on top of flower pots WTF.....if you have a work address get the package(s) sent there , may have a better chance of your "goods" being delivered & signed for

Well, I came into work today after being away two days and found both my Noxon Wireless Music things delivered.

I was shocked for several reasons. The biggest was probably finding them shipped to my work address - a work address that I didn't have when I was told they were originally shipped on the 6th March!!!

After peeling off the Irish tracking label I see it was posted from the Netherlands on the 4th April - i.e. last Wednesday. I am convinced that it's true they have problems with their courier company and they are busy sending out replacement items to customers. They were probably using a crowd that weren't sending out a large number of packages or that depended on key staff members who ended up out ill or whatever.

However, they have sent out versions intended for French/German market to me. Essentially it just means the manual is not in English and the adapter has the wrong type of plug - one of the two prong dealies.

For anyone who gets one of these, there's no real problem in using them with the adapter - many adapters don't have a genuine Earth prong anyway. However, it's completely illegal for this to happen as we can not be sold products with the two prong plugs in Ireland (an exemption exists for electric toothbrushes and shavers). I just don't think it's worth the hassel for the sake of a €8 adapter.

Hope everyone else gets their stuff as well.... :)

My TV finally arrived, ordered on the 31st march - arrived today. Not too bad in the end. I was not here to sign for it but my son was , he thinks the company that delivered it was GLS ???. No dints or rips in the box and its working fine.

Over 5 weeks waiting for an iBOOD box... let me present my latest conversation with iBOOD.

The first e-mail sent March 11th:
    Me wrote:
    Dear Sir / Madam,

With regards to the iBOOD box i ordered almost 2 weeks ago now, it's
still not indicated as shipped on the progress page, and i have not
    recieved any e-mail mentioning shipment.

Please confirm that you have received my payment (as stated in the
order number above). If not, i'll contact my bank to determine the
    problem.

And please get back to me regarding the status of shipment.

    On April 4th from IBOOD:
Thank you for your reponse. While we had some network problems at our office we just read your e-mail. Our apologies for this matter.

Did you received your order already? If not, please contact us as soon as
possible so we can start an investigation at our parcel
    delivery service.

    Awaiting for a response.

    With kind regards,

    Customer Service iBOOD.com

Less than 20 minutes after they sent that, i sent this back:
    Me wrote:
No, the iBOOD box (which i ordered almost a month ago) have still not
arrived. Second time i've ordered from you, second time i've had
    terrible problems.

My patience is wearing thin at this point. Please get back to me
regarding the status of my order.

On a side note, i've talked to a few friends of mine who have had
similar problems with delivery from you. Something i'd recommend is
switching couriers in Ireland if possible. It currently gets couriered
by a company called Interlink (www.interlink.ie) when it reaches Irish
shores and they're infamous for terrible service. Oh, and the name
Interlink is worth noting as i was told you used TNT by a rep in your
cusoimer service on my last problem with a package. Phoned TNT and
they had no knowledge.. i eventually found it Interlink is who
recieved the package when it reaches Ireland.

    Regards.

PS - please consider what i have said regarding couriers as many other
people who buy from you on a forum i regularly visit have similar
complaints regarding Interlink and such. I can give you a link if you
    wish.

A week later.. still no response.. so i sent this:
    Me wrote:
Can you please get back to me regarding the status of my order?

Yesterday, i'd still no response so i sent this:
    Me wrote:
    Dear Sir / Madam,

I was sent the e-mail below on the 4th April (12 days ago) to which i
replied to less than 20 minutes later.

    I also sent you a follow-up e-mail on the 11th April (5 days ago)
asking the status of my parcel. I have yet to recieve a response to
    both e-mails.

It's now over 5 weeks since i first placed the order for my iBOOD box
with you and it amazingly still hasn't arrived. My first order with
you (an Argosys 320GB hard drive) suffered similar delivery problems.

I now would expect a full refund in my bank account by the end of the
week. I don't want your shoddy service anymore - your products are
typically at good prices but at a real cost for your shoddy reliablity
    and poor customer service.

Consider this my last order with you.. please get back to me regarding
    either a full refund!

    Regards

Today.. i finally recieved an e-mail from them:
    IBOOD wrote:
    Dear XX

Thank you for your response. The reason that you still didn't received your
order is that there are delivery problems at your address. You gave us the
    following address;

    Mr. <my firstname> <my surname>
    <my address 1>, <my address 2>, <my address 3>
    12345 Sligo
    Ireland

While Ireland has no Zip code and you placed 12345, the parcel delivery
service could not found the address. That's why it's the second time that
there is a delay with the delivery. If you place on de 12345, a Dot or a
stripe( . or - ), the delivery will go right next time.

For this time we will pay you the money back. Please e-mail us you bank
account number so we can transfer the money back to you.

Our apologies for the inconvenience made.

    With kind regards,

Eeeeehhhh.. wha? So i sent this back..
    Me wrote:
I find the Zip code excuse all a bit hard to believe... they had no
problems finding the address stated for my previous order.

I was told by Interlink who delivered it that the reason for the delay
with that order is they called to the house, no-one was there and
forgot to leave a note / message saying to collect my drive at the
local depot. The address stated in my new order is my work address -
    someone is always there.

I use the zip code '12345' for all my Internet shopping as a lot of
companies require you to provide one and i've never had any problems
    with deliveries before your company.

My IBAN is as follows: XX

It should be AIB Bank, XX in Ireland. Account name should be: XX

    Regards,

Quite a read, eh? The last time i use their service!!

    They gave me similar bullsh*t.

They reckoned my box had gone to Belgium...hard to believe. I only got an email response from them once I started to copy all emails to the European Consumer Affiars office.

It is resolved now...5 weeks, 10 emails and three phone calls later. I accept this is my only experience with them and others may have had better ones, but I shall not be using them again and could not, in all honesty, recommend them to anyone.
