Hello all, question for anyone who's ever bought from iBOOD, what sort of time did you have to wait for the delivery? I got a mail saying they shipped on the 9th, but no sign yet.

Have a look at this thread, pages 2+3 list some delivery problems with a couple of users. I think basquille has ordered from them a few times.

The few times I've used them they've taken about 5 working days once they get around to shipping the things.

But they don't seem to have any qualms about dropping the packages off at your neighbours if you aren't in... so be sure that you trust your neighbours.

I had a ripped open package containing a GPS unit dumped on my doorstep last Sunday by an unknown neighbour who must have been wrestling with their conscience since the Friday.

Here's some examples of waiting times, from their own site.
    [Linky 01]
    [Linky 02]

I was waiting 5 or 6 working days for my first order to arrive after shipping was confirmed.

I also had to wait 10 days before my latest order was even shipped (haven't received it yet).

My order was shipped on the 23rd of Feb and still hasn't arrived. They haven't responded to my emails yet either.

People have had different experiences but I doubt I'll use them again.

Thanks for the help. I shall be patient for a while longer, but probably won't buy from them again after this sorta shenanigans.

took me 5 working days from when they said they had shipped which was pretty fast so I can't complain.

I got my stuff delivered very fast. A day ot two to ship and a couple of days to get here. I think I waited a 7 days in total.

    Delivery is very patchy.

I ordered an iBOOD Box on March 11th. Still hasn't been shipped.. but at least in they case they mentioned "Shipping time: 10 workdays" in the product description but still sent them an e-mail about it.

After you recieve an e-mail from them saying it's been shipped, it should be with you within 3 - 5 working days.

Their customer service and general running of their affairs is shocking!

For example.. ordered the Argosys Hard Drive off them and eventually i got a tracking number for TNT off them. TNT had no knowledge of it.. eventually i figured out it was an Interlink tracking number!

I have found ibood to be very helpful if somewhat crap in the delivery department. still waitin gon two orders from early february....

Problem is the courier company that cant find my house. Its in a new estate so its not on GPS systems yet but still.... currently they are resending my orders to an alternative address. we'll see.

replies to email queries and notifications of delays and updates are actually better than I have had from play.com or dabs or komplett. Its just a pity that there are so many delays.

To be fair on that point the same thing happened to me. I got the tnt number and figuered out it was the Dutch branch of it.

That said I didnt have to wait any were as long as you did. I also thought the CS wasnt that bad. Not great but I've dealt with worse

No 'spoilers' but I got this today.... wouldn't get your hopes up. :(

Could you confirm the contents (my envelope was delivered already open). I'd ask iBOOD directly but I'm actually hoping for an answer.

    Cheers!

    ... AIDS!

Ha, only joking! I'll PM you but I have to warn you, the anticipation was the best part of the whole endeavor. Much better than that crippling disappointment I experienced very shortly after opening the (already open) envelope! :D

Delivery is crap. Ordered the Argosy 320 GB Divx Harddrive on the 7th of this month, was shipped on the 15th and have not received it yet.

They seem to only confirm their order with their suppliers after the offer has finished, so they know exactly how many units they need. So the supplier then has to ship to ibood which adds time to the whole process.

They are not supposed to charge your card until the order is ready for shipped, but they do.

their delivery time seems to vary a lot,i have purchased from them 3 times the first 2 i had the item in about 2 weeks and the last time it took over a month to get it

Thanks for the update. In fairness, not terrible, but i doesnt look like ibood care too much about getting repeat customers either.

Still not decided if i would try the surprise box next time they have it or not.

iBood shipped some recent orders out to me extremely quickly - my Argosy took about three weeks, a keyboard I bought took the same, a mouse I bought took about two.

Then there's the Noxon wireless radio thing. Ordered it back in Feb, supposedly shipped to me on 6th of March. Have emailed them twice looking for tracking number. So far no response. Got on to interlink who said they'll have a look for me to see if they have a package, even without the tracking number. (Interlink can be very helpful sometimes)

I haven't given up on iBood just yet, but I'm holding off further purchases until I get my wireless internet radio thing.

OMG, do Ibood still exist? Their delivery times are absolutely terrible. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra to get tracking. Until now all my online purchases took max 1 week.

Have ordered four items in the last six months and there has been no problem, delivery within 12 days or so. However!! arrived home yesterday after work and found a package sitting on my doorstep with a €100 item inside that I ordered about tweo weeks ago. I'm living in the centre of a town so was I lucky it was still there or what? Who delivers for them? An Post would never call and dump the package outside the door if there was no answer.
