    Well this seems like a good place to ask about this. I went to this website:

    and downloaded a few of the icon packs off the front page. It dl's some .ip file :confused: . What do i do with this?

    I think thats iconpackager, a program from stardock, pretty good...I use it for all of my icons.

    heres my simple yet elegant desktop.

    i try and stay away from all that custom cr@p, messes up your system i find. remember a few years ago downloading some dodgy program and i got the blue screen of death as a result!! took ages to get the system back to normal.

    It definately does do something(bad) to your system.
    I just downloaded and installed Samurize.
    CPU is now idling at 18-32%, with Samurize open.
    With Samurize closed, it idles at 0-2%.

    Oh yeah, and had firefox open both times, but I wasn't doing anything.. just sat there looking at the graph.

    Does this not happen to everyone else with samurize?
    I on an Acer Ferrari 3400 with Mobile AMD Athlon™ 64 processor 2800+

    Did you not just go into task manager and see what process was eating up cpu time? I have samurize running monitoring loads of stuff and the cpu always idles 0-3%. Ram usage for samurize is generally only around 3mb aswell. Process to be watching for samurize is 'client.exe'

    Under the CPU tab in Processes, System Idle Process says between 85-98.
    Client.exe shows 9-12 and all the rest are more or less staying at 00
