    I downloaded that samurize program people have been talking about on this thread, and after about 10 minutes of scratching my head wondering how to get the bleedin thing working I figured out that you need to really design your own. So here is the one i designed, made mainly from the plugin for systool. I don't have the temps of my gfx card displayed due to them not working. DOH!

    thats kororaa a gentoo based distro with an easy installer, comes with xgl installed, i highly recommend giving it a go

    How did you make Avadesk count files in folders? mine only counts files in recycle bin. :/

    right click any of them and go to desklet properties then have a look at the attached image.

    Thats

    %n files, %s

    if you want it to count the files in sub-folders as well then just stick %r at the end like

    %n files, %s%r

    in the sub-label box. You can swap and change around the things here its pretty easy to follow, they tell you what most things are.

    It's too bad that program won't count files from the index of a HD :/ when I selected on the folders from a tree, it gave me those options.

    don't get you?

    you want an icon and info for like C:\ + subs? cos ya can do that. Or ya want one to add up everything regardless of partitions etc, not sure if you can do that alright.
