First cold snap 31st October

Now this is the type of thing we are looking for. That is a beautiful chart and should, at this stage, signal the first cold snap to occur next week. Temperatures generally in mid to high single figures during day time hours and the first, possibly significant frosts, at night.:)

erm, the outlook does not look too smart atm. Cooler Tuesday and Wednesday with some frost but it looks as though a generally milder period could characterise the best part of November. It looks mobile for the forseeable future with winds generally southerly. So no real cold weather yet on the horizon.
