    I'm wondering why diesel has gone up also. My card price of 87c a ltr will be renewed soon and I'd like to think it will atleast stay around a euro

    Just did a few quick calcs. A car with a 50 Litre tank getting 30mpg will cost appox 14.85c per mile at €1.00 per litre so go more than 1.68 miles out of your way to save a cent per litre and you are costing yourself money.

    Not a price change just the observation that the dollar is on its arese at the moment with the exchange rate at about 1.32 so will we have to wait long before a cent or two gets knocked off?

    Texaco (Barnbay Ltd) Dundalk on the Carrickmacross Road Petrol 1.03 from 1.02, Diesel is 1.04.

    15 mins down the road in Drogheda its 1.00 a litre.

    That was last week. This week's price hasn't been announced yet, doesn't get announced until Thursdays.

    Unleaded is down to 101.26 *
    Diesel is down to 102.64 *

    * Or the station's advertised price, whichever is cheaper.

    Anyone in Dublin should just head to Tescos Clare Hall - cheapest I've seen anyway...has been 99.9 for petrol and 98.9 for diesel for a few months now.

    Same as Tesco Maynooth. There is an Applegreen station in Celbridge at 1.01 for both.

    Did anyone else notice the increase on Xmas day at Texaco, Foxhunter, Lucan, Co.Dublin.
    Leading upto Christmas day it remained at a fairly static 101.9 for unleaded, give or take. However on Christmas day it was 106.9! :eek: Not sure what it is at now.
