Ok, after spotting LadyJ in town on Saturday night while driving along in traffic I'm curious as to whether we can get an old sin.ie thread going here on boards.ie... It's a pretty simple idea, if you see someone from boards that you recognise from their Know your nerds picture, you post here and say where and when you saw…

Actually, a lad I used to hang around with bout 8yr ago picked me out from AH due to my myspace link, he knew it was me obviously and pm'ed me, tis mad how you find peeps online yrs later!

Maybe this is the right thread to ask a couple of questions in rather than start a new thread.

With regards to anybody that has put a photo of themself in the KYN thread,

A) Why do you feel the need to show random people a picture of yourself?

Why do some people feel the need to constantly post pictures of themselves in the thread? Surely one is enough?

And before anybody starts, I'm not having a go I'm just curious.

It's nice to be able to put a face to the people you chat to on here.

I'd only update my photo on there if I've made a significant change to my appearance.

Wasnt the myspace page it was the username! It was either you or yer man out of Korn, and frankly I think hes got bigger fish to fry

Exactly. I have arranged alot of trips on the paranormal forum that are open to anyone, I think it makes it a bit easier for people who dont know anyone to come along.

Doesn't really apply to the people that only have about 5 posts.
