Are you not going to pick an animal ?

It came out of a thread on feedback, a user was claiming that the spirituality forum was dangerous and should be shut down, so monkeyfudge created an O RLY style image, and then made it sig-sized for me. I have to admit I just found it really funny, the signifigance of the owl (actually a Boobook) never even occured to me, even though I had read about Moloch and a lot of the stuff from that link somewhere recently.

    Hi,
I like this thread, it's nice to get an idea of what the other posters are like.
I've been a member here for 3 yrs but am more of a lurker than a poster, I suppose.
I grew up in a very nontradional spiritual home and therefore very openminded about things involving the spirit world and the paranormal. I grew up in a "haunted house" where the paranormal was considered normal and after a while you just don't even notice certain things. I have recently come to the conclusion that sometimes it's not just the house that's "haunted" but the person. I say this because I've had just as many experiences where I currently live than I did when I lived at my parent's home. I've started to write about some of those experiences a couple of times but either the internet disconnects or I do post but change my mind and delete it before anyone else can read it. Maybe some day I will get the courage. :)

In person I'm usually the one laughing and joking around but on boards I think I come across as a much more serious person than I usually am. I also find myself holding back my opinions on certain topics because I think some of the things I believe would not be too popular here :) The one I feel the strongest about I have snuck in my opinion in a few threads, but for the most part I'd rather just read other ppl experiences. :D
