Hi all, this is as good a place as any to make a quick announcement.

As you may or may not have noticed, Stevenmu has been added as a paranormal mod (some people have definitely noticed).

Couple o' reasons for this. Firstly, I'm going to slowly become less involved in the forum (cue Zillah celebratory dance). This is mostly to do with how the forum is moving. I would imagine that deep down, both T4TF and I are more "interested" than "enthusiasts" and it will serve the forum well to have someone with a real interest in the area at the helm.

Apart from being largely involved in the ideas that lead to the paranormal forum exisiting as it does today, stevemu was chosen because he is an experienced mod, with a great modding record and both we and the admins felt that given the rough waters that paranormal has to navigate, an experienced, balanced mod is what was required.

I'll be hanging around for a while in transition before T4TF and stevenmu take sole control.

So everyone, big welcome to stevenmu as new mod!!

Thanks everyone, and thanks Psi for all the hard work and contributions you've put into the forum, aswell as the mental image of that red outift, I needed something like that to forever banish any thoughts of 6th in his leather underwear.

I plan on running things pretty much the same way Psi does now, I'll be looking at posts and thinking "What would psi do ?", so for your part when writing posts you should be thinking "What would psi do ... to me ?". Like Psi, I don't *want* to ban anyone but if the need arises (and if I can get Solas to leave it alone for long enough) I'll wield my stick just as fairly and just as firmly.

Now, with that out of the way, please do return to your sordid perversions.

ok lets not go back to the sordid posting!

Who thinks this threads needs a different/fun title? (no offense Psi)

    I like the word prattling.

Anyway I wont be around for a couple of days as its my wedding anniversary this weekend and i'll be relaxing at a secret location in Wicklow.

While i'm there i'm gonna have a look around a few places like Glendalough, anywhere else i should check out?

What would people think of an investigation in Mallorca?

My brother bought and moved into an old palace there recently and he's been telling me about some strange goings on in the place, so I was hoping to go over to check the place out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,247 ✭✭✭✭6th

ok thanks for the best wishes.

monkeyfudge, sounds good any excuse for a holiday, btw are you coming on the Ross trip?

Psi, I presume you'll still be posting on here?

Yep... I'll be able to make it to Ross Castle.

As for Mallorca, my brother was telling me that last week a phone that wasn't plugged in jumped off a table and then strange voices came out of it for about 20 minutes.

Old stlye telephone that needs to be plugged into a phone point for power.

I guess it is possible that the diaphragm in the handset was being vibrated by a rogue radio signal from somewhere.

The guy who does the biggest paranormal website in Spain lives near by and wants to do a feature on the house now... I must get the address of his site.

Paranormal is really popular in Spain... I know whenever I got into a taxi in spain at night time they would always have some sort of paranormal radio show on with creepy EVP recordings and such.

Yeah my future sister-in-law is spanish. I think alot of deeply religious countries have a tendancy to be open to belief in spirits and such.
