Im looking into this at the minute, if theres any java gurus out there maybe you could help me with the debugging. Any ideas welcome....

I have it almost nailed. Its trickly because Meteor have introduced certificates to their site. I should have it working by next week hopefully....#

I have a new version on the site now. Make sure you dont oerwrite your old phoneNumbers.txt file or you will loose it...

Something very strange going on. I have it working for Mac OSX but the exact same build isn't working for me on Win 2000. Also it doesnt help that Meteors website is up and down like a yoo yoo. I will update again when I sort it out....

Can you tell me what version of Java you are running? Go to Start -> Run -> type 'cmd' enter. When command prompt pops up type:

java -version

You will need to install the latest version of Java from http://www.java.com/

Wondering - have a few Meteor users here. Like contacts, could there be a drop down menu for users too.

say Jacks number is 0851234567
Jill's number is 0852345678

then click on users and choose either jack or jill.

I just switched to meteor from o2, loving it so far... used to use textbuddy for o2 webtext, but I can safely say your app is far better than textbuddy, thanks again for taking the time to put it together...

I have attached a winxp executable version of finbars program so windows users can run it without console being displayed, extract zip file and run WinXP-meteor.exe and it will appear without console.

If you just run the executable jar file Netbeans_Meteor_JSMS from Finbarrs version it runs without the console...

Thats cool tw0nk. If the users system is set up to run executable jars then you wont need an exe, but otherwise this is a good option to have anyway.

Is anyone else having problems sending messages longer than 160 characters? every time I try to send one, the app crashes. It works fine for single text messages though

I only get this kinda thing happening when meteors website is down. (which happens a lot actually)
