I would imagine in the region of €200-250 (size of HD's bringing up price).

I'd say you'd want to knock 1 or 2 hundred off that estimate.

New from Dell about €1100 ..

Second hand? Its a good gaming system, would have been better with dual core faster processors (unless you're doing some serious rendering.) and could seriously do with faster RAM and a good deal more of it btw.... I'd price it around €850-900.. could put together a similar system with 4gb of pc6400 and a 1000w power supply for about €800.

the gaming pc needs a better GPU and the server pc are a dime a dozen these days..pretty sure I've one or two knocking about somewhere.

the ram on the gaming pc is only 1.25gb also... not that good

better off throwing the 1.25gb ram into the server pc and putting at least 2gb ram into the gaming pc along with a better graphics card

800 for both is way too much, I'd say 550-650 for both. The gaming PC is not even a gaming PC by any remote stretch, the second machine is practically just as fast as it game wise i.e would have been a decent gaming PC maybe 4/5 years ago but to call it a gaming PC now is a bit of a joke (the X600 and 6200 would probably get about 1 frame per second in Crysis at low settings, might struggle through Call of Duty 4 at lowest settings above 30fps if lucky. Ancient video cards that were low end when they came out years ago).
