Just saw it now, wasn't in last night.

It was alright, typical Stargate standalone stuff. Did I miss some episode with that agent guy in it though? He knew everything!

that confused me for the whole thing i though he was sams boyfriend but then she told him she was seing someone.

He was in the similar but infinitely better episode Smoke and Mirrors in season 6... he had a small role in Wormhole X-treme in s5 too.

Thought it was a grand stand alone episode. Pushed the NID mythology again, and I still appreciate how the world of SG1 uses the technology they've acquired to advance their own science.

Is next week the beginning of the 3 parter?

Can someone 'spoiler' last weeks ep, I missed it and all the repeats. I guess it did not move the story along much (from the postings)

Last week then:

Warehouse full of dead people. Only a single girl and one scientist left alive. Turns out the girl is a hybrid - the DNA of a human spliced with that of a Goa'uld (sort of like the harceisis but not born of Goa'uld). This was an NID operation - as Goa'uld pass on their memory genetically, they figured that the hybrid would also inherit the memories. So they speed grew her (using previously gathered technologies from, IIRC, Niirti), and began to systematically torture her to gain access to the Goa'uld side of her mind. She developed a somewhat split personality and when the latent Goa'uld portion of her awoke it killed everyone. She eventually would die anyway due to the speed growing. In the end the scientist who had tortured her was killed by her and she passed away.
It didn't push the arc along much except to show how NID once more are using technology acquired from the Stargate program to push us forward. Interesting moralistic argument also about whether we should abuse one person to possibly save millions...

Dr Smith is the characters name. I don't know who has been cast into the part. It's a female again though.
