WW XIV - Marvel & DC

Welcome to the 14th Edition of Boards.ie Werewolf

The great battle of Ragnarok has broken out. The boundaries between all the universes have fallen, Asgard, Hell's Kitchen, Gotham, X-Mansion collide. Ties have been broken and strange new alliances formed as the Suicide Squad and Marvel Villains battle it out for control of this strange new world. Two lone rangers emerge from the ashes out for only themselves. Deadpool, with no memory of the world as it once was, and Kilgrave pining for his lost love.

Thor and his fellow superheroes have joined forces to keep the evil forces from prevailing, yet the villains walk amongst the superheroes unknown. It is up to them to use their powers to defeat the forces of evil, as our bad guys pick off the heroes one by one.

On the side of Good

1 x Seer - Scarlet Witch is the leader of the village. They have the ability to peek one player every night, and will be told the role of the peeked player.

1 x Elder - Thor is the elder of the hero village. He is a Demigod and therefore must be targeted two nights in a row to be killed

1 x Hero - Captain America is the Hero, he can protect one player each night If the Hero successfully saves on two nights both the Hero and the attacker will die (If this is a team then whoever suggested the kill dies)

1 x Governor -The governor is Batman, if he feels the hero village is not doing justice, once during the game he can execute any player of his choosing

1 x Priest - Wonder Woman is the priest of the hero village. The role of all dead players will be revealed to her.

1 x Apprentice Priest -Wolverine is Wonder Woman's apprentice. If Wonder Woman is killed, Wolverine will inherit her power

1 x Vigilante -Iron Man is the vigilante, he has 3 bullets that he may use at night to kill another member of the village. He can use any number of bullets on any night, but if he dies, then his bullets die with him.

1 x Hypnotist - Spiderman is the hypnotist. He can "bind" a player once during the game from day 1 (MONDAY). When Spiderman binds a player they cannot speak until after the lynch. Their vote will not count that night. After the lynch the player will be able to continue as normal

1 x Luke Cage - Luke will have three guesses to try and find his lover Jessica Jones. If he succeeds she will join him in a backroom so they can do what they do best together...

On the side of Evil
Evil TEAMS will get a kill each night


4 x Suicide Squad -
Deadshot - The leader of the suicide squad and their priest. The roles of players killed by the suicide squad will be revealed to Deadshot

Harley Quinn - The infectious wolf. When Harley Quinn dies, the Joker who has been masquerading as a villager will join the Suicide Squad to avenge his love.

El Diablo - He is an ordinary member of the Suicide Squad

Katana - Can protect one member of her team once during the game.

4 x Marvel Villains

Loki - Heads up the Marvel villains as their seer. When any player dies he will find out if they were good or bad

Mystique - The first time Mystique is targeted by a serial killer she will shift shapes and avoid the kill.

Viper - Has one vial of poison with which to kill Captain America. If she identifies and poisons Captain America he will die. If she chooses any other character the plan will backfire and she will die.

Dr Doom - If Dr Doom is lynched, the Marvel villains steal the kill from the Suicide Squad that night.

2 X Serial Killers
The serial killers will have to compete for a kill every SECOND night

Kilgrave - Kilgrave has the power of mind control. At any point in the game he can choose any player to mind control. They will share a room and Kilgrave can dictate lynch votes, kill votes, and posts to this player. The selected player must comply. He's also inextricably linked to Jessica Jones. If Jessica dies, Kilgrave dies.

Deadpool - Deadpool can use his healing powers to heal any manner of wound or death blow, but he only has the strength to do it once.

RULES
1. Respect the mods: The decisions of the mods are final. Mods will not enter into discussion or arguments on thread about mechanics of the game. There will be a time for review and discussion after the game is complete. The mods have some secrets, but all players have been provided with the information they need to play the game. If you have any questions, please PM WerewolfGM and we will respond as soon as possible.
2. Don't cheat: This is a game that relies heavily on the players having integrity. No PMing other players in the game or Facebook Chatting, and no chat about the game outside of this game thread and designated back forum threads. No posting of any PM's from the game mod or referring to the content of them.
3. No editing: DO NOT EVER EDIT A POST. IF YOU HIT THE POST REPLY BUTTON THEN LIVE WITH IT. YELLOW CARDS AND RED CARDS WILL BE HANDED OUT TO PLAYERS WHO EDIT POSTS
4. Be active: Please all try to reasonably contribute to the game thread and always remember to get a vote in as a minimum. Mods can also kill off inactive players at their discretion. Substitutes will be subbed in where available.
5. Game schedule: Game starts with a slaughter to be revealed at 10am on Monday morning. On night 1 (Monday) BOTH evil teams will get a kill but the SK do not get a kill until the next night. Slaughters will be revealed at 10am, lynch votes will be revealed at 9pm. From Friday onwards, if the game is still active, the game enters speed mode. During speed mode, the following schedule will apply: 10am munch; 2pm lynch; 5pm munch; 9pm lynch
6. Voting rules: The lynch form will be opened then and players can vote until 08:59:59PM. You can change your vote as many times as you like, but only your last vote will count. Do not share your vote form password with anyone else. All votes for the lynch have to be made by yourself. Two missed votes will result in a modkill.
7. Lynch rules: The votes will be published when the Lynch is announced. They will be posted in order of who received the most votes and then in chronological order but with no timestamps. In the event of a tie, the tied players will have 30 minutes to see if the voting changes. If no result is reached the person who received the highest amount of votes first shall be lynched.
8. Are you dead? People are free to post in the thread until the lynch and slaughter are announced. You are not dead until a post in the game thread announces it. Once you are dead, please don't post in the game thread again. You will be granted access to the deadroom where you can discuss the game. No thanking of posts are allowed after you are dead as information can be given away with this seemingly small action.
9. It's only a game: Don’t be a sensitive soul. While boards own forum rules clearly take precedence over any in-game rules, this is a game where people will be insulted, there will be some bad language and people will try to provoke a reaction out of each other. Please accept this is part of the game and don’t go annoying the mods with the report post button unless really needed.
10. Stay in the game world: This game takes place in the Superhero Universe and players are encouraged to get on board with the theme. Do not reveal your character, but refrain from talking about real life or the world outside the game. Information on your real identity will be picked up this way. Have fun, make meme’s, take the piss and try to enjoy the game. THERE ARE NO TASKS TO LOOK FOR.
11. In it to win it: No matter who your character is, good, bad or indifferent, you must play in your character's best interest at all times.
12 Role Reveals: On death, it will be revealed if the player was team village or not team village. Exact roles will not be clarified, except to players with that specific power.
13. No meta-gaming: Please try to forget everything you know about previous games and players and approach the game with a clean slate. Don't use information such as online status or other external factors.
14. Win conditions: For a village win, villagers must kill off all the baddies. For either of the gangs to win they must eliminate the other gang, and achieve parity with the villagers. For either Kilgrave or Deadpool to win, they must make it down to the last two players. If both Kilgrave or Deadpool make it down to the last 3, a joint serial killer win will be announced.

15. Everyone has a role, they have a new Boards name and a character name. Don't ruin the game by coming out at the start and saying who you are, this especially goes to the NRV's. It just ruins the game. Enjoy being a superhero for a week instead.
