    There is a newish Lidl in Portmarnock offering 4 franziskaner for 6 euro. The local Dunnes matched this and I then got 20% off with a 10 off for 50 spend voucher. They only had 2 cases. :mad:

    This is one to watch in future if there are Dunnes/Lidls close to each other! :D

    Got the last four in Blanch(Blakestown) lidl walked 45 minutes round trip, let's hope they're worth it!

    Are you sure you're doing it right? Giving it a good upsidedown swirl before opening and then after pouring most of the contents give it another swirl to release the sediment

    Hadn't noticed to be honest. I do swap between Erdinger, Paulaner and franskaner and I still prefer the franskaner.

    Yep, am doing much of that. Dont get me wrong, its still better than most out there, just the taste seems different the last few months
