works out about 22 euro delivered

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000191871773.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.3a4a4c4doRyhkW

(order shipping from Germany or Poland or Spain / Belgium after that)

I got it in a week from the Germany shipping.

    - 20,000 Mah - real-world 70 WattHours output (14,000 Mah at 5v phone voltage)
    - very light at 350g or so for this capacity and not big and cumbersome
    - up to 18W output (e.g. 9V / 2A) AND same 18W input charging (on usb-c) so charges pretty much twice as fast as at 5V / 2A
    - usb-c, 2 USB A, apple lightning
    - can charge up to 3 devices at once (18W total output of course)
    - digital display shows % charged, input or output in Volts and Amps

Have this and it's much better than the larger, heavier and slower-charging (input and output) power banks that you'd get would get at this price and with digital readout

Have 2 of these and don't need another but of course I went and bought a third, will probably give away my other one's, handy for camping and the likes...

    Nice one Glasso... :)

Ordered it last night and I just got notified it has been shipped from Germany.

I really need a decent powerbank so I’m looking forward to using this.

    Thanks OP.

I see there are even 50,000, 80,000 and 99,000mah ones for around similar price, will there be an issue with certain ones coming from certain places? One even has a solar charge capabilities on it.

They are fake, a power bank this size will be around 20,000

Solar one will also either be completely fake or completely pointless as a panel that size would barely power the charging LED, never mind charge a power bank

Oh I get the part with the solar as it's so small was just wondering on the battery size, seen a few there and the case is double the size.

I got one of those fake 10000mah solar ones :pac:
It does not work as a solar charger.
However it is a power bank, substantially less than the advertised capacity, cost e7 from China.

thanks OP , you would think there are so many power banks that 1 person would need. I don't know that number yet :pac:

I see Germany must be out of stock.
Tried to order 2 but kept telling me oops something went wrong..
Went back to the link and Germany is greyed out now.
I see Poland is an option. Safe from there or is there a reason Germany is the one we pick?

    +1

Ignoring inefficiencies 20,000mAh would need 20A hours x 4 volts to charge it = 80 watts hours.

So a 20 watt panel x 4 hours facing direct sunlight in a cloudless sky. And lithium batteries don't like the heat. And it's cloudy in Ireland most of the time.

Will this charge a Pixel 3a, I think they require Power Delivery, this charger mentions PD, is that the same thing?

Ordered one of these about 2 months, came broken. Would not recommend it.

Would that work as a battery backup for a laptop which has a usb-c port?

After Brexit you can't get power banks off Amazon.co.uk anymore.

So I paid €45 at Harvey Norman for an Adata with QC 3.0 and USB-C and a digital battery readout last weekend. Can verify the QC does register as "fast charge" on a Samsung Galaxy and you can fast-charge it up. Too bad the thing is nearly the size of a laptop brick!

This looks as good spec-wise so if the QC works and it's smaller that would be great even if the capacity isn't as high as advertised.

    Thanks OP!

    no.

you need 45W output typically for that.

costs about 40 to 50 euro for one of those

e.g. mi power bank 3 pro

capacity seems to be as advertised

of course all powerbanks are rated at 3.6/ 3.7 V

so 20,000 Mah is 20 AH so

    20 AH x 3.6 V = 72 Watt Hours

20,000 Mah at 3.6V is about 14,000 Mah at 5V (voltage of phone or tablet)

    Does indeed also charge and output at 18W (9V at 2A, 12V at 1.5 A) instead of the normal 5V at 2A = 10 W

in fact it's reported that it can output at 12V at 2A = 24W from a review that I saw

max charging it tho is 18W

by the way the efficiency is less the higher the output charging

    e.g. might be 93% at 10W, down to 90% at 18W

I just copied the link from chrome when I was logged into Ali - no affiliate on my part anyways unless inserted by some extension on Chrome

judging by the pent-up powerbank demand and the amount of people who seemed to buy from boards it I wish I that I had an affiliate link tho!

logged in again and recopied it -

    this is what I get

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000191871773.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.544a4c4d1IjE4i
